6 days ago, I had oral sex with a guy I just started dating. Within 2-4 days, the glands under my throat and under my jaw bone became swollen and painful, my gums became sore and swollen, my tongue developed a few tiny painful blisters at the tip and top, and my tongue is swollen a bit and very painful. I do not have a fever. I am tired, but I've not been sleeping but 3-4 hours a night for the past week or so. I cannot eat anything because my gums are so painful. I haven't eaten anything but Miso soup in 3 days.

I went out with this same guy for a short period in March, had oral sex with him once, and had the same symptoms, but very minor in comparison to this time. My glands stayed swollen and sore for almost 2 weeks at that time, but my mouth recovered within a few days. I did not link him to this infection, but I now know he's had many partners and mostly unprotected sex.

I've searched the internet for these symptoms, but cannot find them. However, I am certain it is from the oral sex.
