I had the ablation surgery 1 year ago now.
My period stopped almost straight away I've never had a period since.
This is what I wanted as I had a lot of blood loss and then I became low in iron and needed iron infusions.
That was my whole point of having this procedure done. I wish I never had it done and looked more into it. Since the procedure I have no desire for sexual intercourse and as for orgasm it doesn't come on its own either.
If I had known I probably would have gone with a full hysterectomy and at least I would still feel like a normal female.
I'm only 48 my husband is 10 years older than me and he still has a much higher sex drive than me.
He is very understanding but it is getting me down as I feel like where to from here. Life is not very exciting in that department now and I take day by day but it certainly has changed my life for the worst!
My advice is don't do it!!!
Any advise would be appreciated.

I had an ablation a year ago, and my orgasms have disappeared. When I masturbate it takes forever and is hardly worth it, and sex is useless! Wish I had known as I wouldn’t have had it done. Feel aroused a lot of the time, but nothing comes of it.

I Went to a Gyne dr. About this procedure!! He Told me That I WOULD NOT HAVE ORGASIMS AFTER THIS. I DAID FORGET IT!!! He Was Very Honest about Telling me that and not out to make a buck!!! You should if been told!!

I Went to a gyne dr. About having this procedure done. HE TOLD UP FRONT AND EARLY IF I HAD IT DONE I WOULD NO LONGER HAVE ORGASIMS!!! I THANKED HIM AND Walked out!! He was Honest and Not out to make a buck$$$$

I'm Sorry but Your Dr. Was Not Honest!! I went to a Gyne dr. Who does this procedure alot. He Told me RIght Away that I Would NOT HAVE ORGASIMS ANYMORE!! He was Honest and not out to make a buck$$$
