Ok first of all you can very much have a period while pregnant. My mother had her period for 6 months while she was pregnant with me and my aunt had four children and she had her period with the first and last child. And if a woman pays close enough attention and knows her body pretty well she can tell if she is ovulating or not. So fyi ICEBREAKER you are wrong no matter if you are a health care worker or not!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That is called an infection hun. Stop eating her until she gets fixed
FYI "Icebreaker", you can have a period while being pregnant. My sister was pregnant and had a period for 6 months..it depends on your body and how you release eggs.
Geez it was an honest question you don't have to yell at him (using capital letters is like yelling at a person). My friends mom had her period the whole time she was pregnant with her so it's not unusual. To hello2828 I would converse with a real doctor about the problem instead of idiots on the web who think they know everything.
I'm 10 weeks pregnant and I ovulated 2 nights ago. It surprised me, hence why I'm here :)
I had terrible pain the next day which lasted for about hour and then some cramping.
I'm wondering if anyone else experiences the same? Or if this is something I need to get checked.

You are so rude and nasty! He's asking a question and no matter how ridiculous it sounds, he doesn't know. Stop acting like a smart ass and learn to be nice! How would you like if someone spoke to you in that manner! So dumb! Get a life and stop trying to be an internet bully!
Hey ICEBREAKER!! You are so rude and nasty! He's asking a question and no matter how ridiculous it sounds, he doesn't know. Stop acting like a smart ass and learn to be nice! How would you like if someone spoke to you in that manner! So dumb! Get a life and stop trying to be an internet bully! And btw please if your going to insult someone learn to spell for godssake, I can't even take you seriously, because of your immense stupidity. And if you have ever been pregnant, you would know that yes a woman can bleed during pregnancy and its called "implantation" can last frm 2 to 4 days and can be heavy to very light. It depends on the womans body! My pregnancy I thought I got my period only to find out it was implantation. And as far as you telling him about his gf getting birth control, who are you to tell them what to do? He was merely asking a question. And since your such a doctor on the female body, you would of been a little more considerate to the young man, you would know how to spell (you illiterate f**k), and you would not be saying "you can't get a period while pregnant, then continue to say you can bleed its like a period" -_- dumbass the word is implantation. So next time you decide to act like such a tough person, and be a smartass, make sure you have some cause to back your sh*t up!
When you go off the pill it screws with your cycle a bit. When I got off I had a period a week later, which was about 2 weeks too early. It'll regulate soon.
Wonderful response. That is right, not everyone has the money to go to the doctors to get answers, so people need to be more compassionate when answering, or like she said don't answer at all. And for the life of me don't understand how people can boldly say yes this no that for a fact, when women are here telling them it actually happend to them. Nothing is a fact just because you read it someone or some doctor told you. People are here telling you something they actually experienced, so that holds more weight in my opion.
You can have a period while you are pregnant! My girlfriend had it the entire time she was pregnant, on time every month and when she went into labor thought it was a bladder infection. Should do a little more research before posting anything especially in such a crude way.
I am a month pregnant and still ovulated
if you dont have a clear understanding of how pregnancy occurs, how to prevent it, or even how reproduction works, perhaps you shouldnt be having sex.
i am 10 weeks pregnant and i thought i was ovulated the other day can this happen? i haven't really felt my baby heart beat i feel it once in a while what could this mean?
I'm astonished someone gave you a job in healthcare. A) you don't know what you are talking about. Because, in fact, one can have a period, and one can ovulate during pregnancy. It's called Superfetation. and B) you don't know how to respond in a non-judgmental professional manner.
yes you can stll have a period why you are still pregnant because i was still have mind and i was only four mouths
