P.S. I too have had cat scans and every test imaginable. Nobody can find anything. Its maddening. As i stated above. It hurts like hell. Drives my blood pressure way up. Besides the distended gut and hernia, im now having to consider taking blood pressure medicine. Surgery at 28, to live in constant pain and misery for 10 years now....

I have seen many doctors regarding the pain my body is in. I had a bowel resection in 2015, a stroke after that and a stent placed i my heart due to a 95% blockage in December 2016. I saw a rhuemotologist who ran many tests and came to the conclusion that since my tests are coming back normal it could be the invasion from many surgeries causing pain. I have had over 10 surgeries, many major such as brain surgery, lung surgery, my heart ablated... Just a thought and I'm not sure if I buy it but...could be?

Hello, I had twelve inches removed 8 months ago and I feel the same pain on lower left side from sigmoid surgery. Leg gets weak and stomach nauseous at times. I noticed it only happens when im constipated or bend or lift something not all really heavy. I feel better knowing that im not crazy . dr. don't want to give any pain meds which is crazy. Hoping for the best

I'm in the same situation too. I have chrons disease,I had 8 surgeries my last surgery was August 2016 n I'm still sick n in pain all the time, mostly when I eat. Since my surgery I bin in n out of the hospital i had ct scans dun n it still showed signs of chrons n jus recently I had a colonoscopy which showed no more chrons and no blockage. My doctor said he doesn't know why I'm always sick still he told me it was adhesions but I don't think so. I'm thinking of getting a second opinion. I'm also on the waiting list to see a gastroenterologist. I hate living with this pain everyday sum days are good n some days are bad. I'm hoping we can find some answers as to why this is happening. I know how you feel.

hi i have very similar problems plus a very bad back on occasions, I get the same response and I am at a wits end trying anything to help, I didn't expect it to be so painful and at the moment I am still constipated and irregular bowel movements, the response by the professionals is it will never be the same again but most of the symptons point to an incisional hernia even the tests prove inclusive so they basically said "suck it up" hope you can achieve something I can't and post it to me.

I have had a very similar history, but with mesh repair. Chronic pain and go motility issues, cyclical in nature with flare-ups. It has been life altering. I think scar tissue formation may be a large reason for motility extremes and build up of go bacteria increases pain, nausea and discomfort.

Same issues here. After resection, had emergency surgery due to volvulus and reherniation - saved my life. I am reherniated, no abdominal wall muscles, and chronic gi pain and issues 5 years later. I look bloated and pregnant. Have been told to just live with it as further surgeries would not help

I have a few questions: Would a mesh help with the pain? Would a total colectomy - no colon remaining - solve the problem? Has anyone tried a real good pain management program?
