Hi- I know that it's been a year since you wrote this but hoping that you are still following. What you describe sounds like what is wrong with me. Am I able to self- massage with results?

I do. Almost 5 months ago now. Right ovary hurts, I move wrong feels like its ripping.. More bloated , more constipation. Pain in lower abdomen after any ab exercise. I have hip and low back normally, but it has increased quite a bit... I also am on permanent thyroid hormones since 2008..
So I am hoping to see my Dr soon and see what's going on!!!

Yes I had extreme pain in my left side as well after my total hysterectomy. 11 months have passed since my surgery and I still feel slight tightening and slight pain on the left side. I have been examined and the doctors tell me everything appears normal . I am seeing a physio and has helped alot. Good luck.

I realize I am replying to an old post, but I am curious as to how you are feeling after all this time. I am 55 years old and had a TAH 6 months ago. I still have pain and an now having heartburn and nausea after eating. Have you recovered? Was there a diagnoses? It seems like I'm where you were over a year ago and losing patience. I appreciate any information or advice you might offer. Thanks Artistar

Yes, I have the same thing. My surgery was in November and I was pretty much pain free other than the burning sensation I was told was normal but now it feels as if I have been doing sit ups, which I indeed have not been, and now nave sore muscles. Also I still have slight Burning sensations still. It hurts to even move and also to walk. Mostly on the left side but does drift to the right some too. I thought maybe I stretched to much or something but it's starting to worry me. Is this normal? I have contacted my dr. Just waiting on response.

My hysterectomy was a complete one as well. Cut from top of naval to pelvic area vertically. I had a fibroid mass the size of a baby/basketball (even been told watermelon

I was told that with a complete hysterectomy where everything is removed they cut across the top of the vaginal area to detach it and it then is stitched across the top.

I also had severe burning white hot pain in my left side. They did not explain why but it has subsided 23/4 months later. Surely they know why but don't eliminate the patients fear.

Hi there,
I know your post was a year ago, but did you get answers? I am currently looking for help & saw your post.
You had stitches because of the creation of the vaginal cuff. It had to be stitched at the top after your uterus had gone. Did you get any answers about the cramps? I am in the same position as you now. I wish you well.

Yes that is totally normal. Severe lower back pain is also normal for several weeks.

Hi

I was reading you post and was wondering what happened with your diagnosis..? I had a hysterectomy 2 months ago and today im experiencing major “cramping” pain , lower back pain and nausea.. im not sure if its related to “my cycle” or if it could be something else.
