i just turned 18 a month ago but for the past 1 and ahalf years i have been having severe pain on the whole left side. it started as chest pain but mainly on the left, then also the left lower part of my back i had difficulty in breathing and sometimes in walking as the pain would move down to my left leg. then headaches lasting a minimum of two days also attacking only the left started which would spoil my vision on the 3rd day. doctors i have seen have prescribed Betaphyn but no change. could i be having a heart condition as they suspect?
I am concerned as to why the doctors have not done tests on your heart if they suspect it is a heart condition? I would be seeking a different doctor or hospital because they are not taking you seriously other than prescribing a medication that would only mask the problem. I would demand a EKG and other heart studies to see if it is a heart issue. It wouldn't hurt to have a CT of your brain as well, because it concerns me that you are having trouble with walking and having such horrible migraines. Has anyone else had these symptoms and find out what it was?
