Pain in top of the right side stomach while pregnant.

I have been having this pain for past 26 weeks now. I am 36 weeks pregnant and started to feel it around 10th week. In the beginning, I did complaint but when I noticed nobody would listen or do anything about it. I started to do different things to see what helps. Here is what helped me tremendously. Try taking off your bra, trust me it will help. What I have found out that most women have right breast heavier than the left. I do feel that this pain has something to do with our changing body and pressure. I keep correcting my posture through out the day and also when you take off your bra slightly warm up a towel either in a dryer or any other way you like. Now lift your breasts and roll up the towel and put it under your breasts. I hope it helps. Good luck to all of you.

I am glad that I found this website. I am about 11weeks pregnant with number 2 and with my first one I didn't have this pain. With my first one I had gallbladder problems and ended up having it removed about 3 or 4 months after he was born. But this pain is different from the gallbladder because I remember that distinctively. I have my appointment with my midwife on the 9th which is next Wednesday. But the pain is when i sit or stand or move around. So we will just have to wait and see what my midwife says on Wednesday.

im geting the same pain im still waiting for my pregnancy test to come from the dr to confirm im pregnant i did three pregnancy test at home and their came positive i came on my last period in december

Im 30 weeks pregnant and im having pains above my tummy on the right side..it feels almost as if it were brused?
I also toss and turn all night long from my whole body hurting..
Any suggestions???

My daughter has the same burning pain in upper right stomach it is from mild to severe pain. She had all kinds of blood work and test done. The doctor couldn't fine any thing wrong. Sent her home with pain pill and to tuff it out. Help please worried Mother.

Hey,

I hope I can help, I'm 14 weeks pregnant and have been getting this strange pain in my upper right side, about an inch under my ribs. Mine is a sharp pain, like a poke from the inside, and i know its not the baby! It was really worrying me so i checked

I am at 36 weeks and have the same pain. I too had this pain with my first child 4 years ago. I went to the doctor and he ruled out all the test that were done and I had no answer as well. I was going to my Chiropractor and told him about it. He tried electric acupuncture and it took away the pain right away. I would try it. I recommended to a co-worker for his wife as she too was having the same pains and it has helped her as well. Good Luck to the rest of you and hope this helps!

hi everyone im 25 weeks pregnant and this is my third baby i have ovarian cysts which luckly i found out before falling pregnant due to one bursting. I have also been experencing this pain in the top right of my stomach under my breast when i consulted my gyno doc and conculstant at the hosp they said when having cysts (which most woman produce them through pregnancy but never know they have them as generally dissapear) it can cause ur stomach to experience this pain generally on the side of the stomach to which ur cysts are but cannot harm ur baby in anyway umless they grow, so cysts are defo something to be considering if ur gps are taking no notice see ur consultant at the hosp they seem to care more hope this helps some off u its not nice i know i can only lay on my left side so end up with dead leg when sleeping.......

I am 23 wks with baby boy, last night he started moving and was a non stop movents and I had a sharp pain across the top of my uterus a inch above my belly button. And now it is sensitive to the touch, I'm not sure what to do this is my frost pregnancy and he is still super active but that pain is really starting to bother me....

I'm having the same pain at the top right of my stomach under my right boob.Im 28 weeks and the pain comes and goes.Its sharp and sometimes makes it hard to inhale.I think its just really bad gas but I'm not sure.This is my second child and I've never had this pain before.

Im 23 weeks with my first baby so everything worries me.. about 2 days ago i had a strange pain on my left side starting from my hip to my upper back below my chest... it hurt so bad... it went away after about 30 minutes.i haven't gotten it since... it kind of felt like i was constipated...

I have had this pain for 3 weeks now. I had my gallbladder removed a week ago and everything went fine. However the exact same pain I had before is there now but worse. It is unbearable. The pain meds aren't doing anything. They really don't know what's wrong with me all my tests came back normal today so now they are going to try and rule out shingles. I'm 24 weeks, my pain is uppr right abdomen under right breast inflamed burning feeling that is constant with sharp pains at times. I'm nervous and completely MISERABLE. I would like to know what happened if u remember.

Hey guys this is my third pregnancy and im 31 weeks and i have the same thing. From what I gathered is a muscle strained from all the stretching and pulling. The only thing that helps is when I tighten my stomach. It gives me instant relief but its only short term. Try using a belly strap or something that will lift your bump preventing your stomach muscles from stretching. Hope this helps.

I am 7 wks 3 days and I have felt something like this since around wk 5. Its like a big ball of pressure under my right breast. It never moves and it is always there. It hurts and cramps a lot. I told my nurse at my first sonogram and she checked my gall bladder and said it was clear. Im concerned bc im not far enough along for my baby to be anywhere near there.
