Have you been checked for h pylori? I had the same symptoms for a very long time. I found out I had h pylori even though prior testing came back negative. I have ulcers in my small intestine because of it and that caused the severe pain under my ribs and into my back on my right side. I thought I was going crazy, it hurt so bad. I lost a major amount of weight, nauseous, couldn't eat etc. Demand the test and do it a few times. I never thought it would be something as simple as bacteria. I ended up with diverticulitus because of it. Good luck!

I double trying to remove gluten from your diet. I had the same symptoms. I was so sick I got flown to 115 lbs. I had my gallbladder out and it had some evidence of chronic inflammation. I had an upper endoscopy done and it ruled out celiac. I gave 4-5 months for the URQ pain to stop, it filled but was still there. I performed an elimination diet on myself and determined I react to dairy and gluten. Gluten triggers the URQ pain. Tried an antibody retest with a two week gluten challenge (that I could hardly complete) and my doctor finally acknowledged gluten intolerance. Has resolved 90% of my symptoms!

I gave up on Western medicine finding the cause of these symptoms. Been dealing with this for a few years. AlcohoI makes me puke blood.eventually found the GAPS diet. A heal your gut diet focused on homemade probiotics. It was working well till I had 10 shots of whiskey in a night and was puking blood pretty bad. It's been a month and I can't stabilize it. Taking baclafen a muscle relaxer for the burping and it's still bad. It's constant even water comes up ten times along with all the acid in my stomach. I'm sure it's not acid reflux but concerned it could be sirious

"I'm sure it's not acid reflux but concerned it could be serious"- I believe you need to get yourself checked properly. Puking blood is a very very ominous sign. It might be either you may have ulcers or even worse your liver might be in trouble and all that alcohol is not going to help you!
