This happened to me too from the time I was 12 - every doctor I went to said "it sounds like gall stones" but you are too young for that. For the next thirty years I heard the same thing - Xrays, ultrasound etc finally a cat scan showed up hundreds of sand size particles of gall stones. Had my gall bladder removed and was pain free for years. Also had ulcers - now on permanent antacid tablets and the pain is back - not as bad as it used to be but still there. I am overweight and it is more painfull if I am standing for long periods. It does ease when I loose the weight. Not sure if that if of any help to you. Have yourself checked for gall stones.
My neighbor had the same thing and it was diaphragm issue.
Dairy products - milk, cheese, yoghurt, etc cause all of these symptoms. Just remove dairy - read labels carefully for milk solids, whey, butter, etc - for a month and see if it helps.

I've lived with these exact same problems for the past 30yrs. I made a lifestyle change about 3yrs ago and only get these pains back around the holidays, the change i made was this: Cut out soda, ate smaller portions, half my dinner with the family and the other half about 2-3hrs later, take smaller bytes so that it takes longer to finish the portion and i snack all day long on things like jerky, carrot sticks, popcorn, hard candies, snack cakes, chips, mostly whatever falls to it's doom after i put in a few coins and push the button. 3yrs ago i under went a sleep studio for a college study and a group of Pre-med students found the solution. This is what i was told,
when we sleep all of our muscles slow down, intesnines included, and a large handfull of people only eat 1-2meals a day due to busy work schedules or lack of apitite and so on. well there are also some of us out there that have "Lazy" lower intestine that moves food along slower then the upper one does. firmer foods like muffins, Cheeses, ect.. those that contain "gluten" or "dairy" actualy move slower through our digestion tract any ways. when we eat a normal meal it should all flow through normaly but what was happening was this, my meal headed to the stomac hung out for a while the it formed it's little train and headed through the upper intestines but when it came time to pass from the upper to the lower, becuase the lower intestine slacked off for that particular meal for some reason unkown, it created a major blockage build up due to the diffrent rates of movement. the upper side continues to try and push through building pressure causeing the upper section to bulg at that point cuaseing sever pain in my stomach area right under my ribcage on my right side. but in most cases the pain doesn't set in until the next night when a gap is made between the blockage and the newly eaten meal, the constant burping and nuase is from the gas bubble traped between the two masses, often times nothing will show up on scan type tests becuase it is actualy this bubble causeing most of the pain we feel and is why belching, farting, or even vomiting at extreme times gives very minor relief if any at all.
If you belive this may be your problem simple try to spread your meal over a longer period of time by breaking it in to 2 smaller meals and takeing time in between bites.... realy the only thing i removed from my diet was carbonated Caffine, but when i go out to eat or to a cook out i still drink it then i just don't purchase it for "home or work" the soda i drink then doesn't bring the pain back.
been pain free since..... mostly :-) i love holiday foods!
You may have either a stone stuck in your bilary duct or some form of malformation. Your pain and issues are generally connected to gall bladder; however, can extend throughout the upper GI tract. People in here have been very calm regaring your issues but they can actually kill you. If you are in the NYC area, I suggest a Dr Brown at Beth Israel.
I have the same exact symptoms. All my scans were fine, then the dr sent me for a HIDA scan to check the function of my gallbladder, a very high number or low number means theres a problem with the gallbladder, my scan came back with a 97. Dr is setting me up to get the gallbladder removed she said thats deffinately whats causing all my symptoms. What usually triggers an attack is when you eat fatty, greasy, or oily foods. I bought a steamer and have been steaming everything and the amount of attacks I was having went down dramatically. stay away from soda as well. But if you havent had a HIDA scan done I would ask your dr about getting one done, very simple nuclear medicine test they do and scan your body to see how well your gallbladder and liver filter out the nuclear medicine. It used to be just low numbers were bad but no the dr said they are finding out that high numbers means your gallbladder is letting out to much bile and is not functioning properly. So that is my best advice. hope all turns out well!
this sounds like gallbladder to me. tests dont always tell youthere is an issue. I also had shoulder neck pain and feelings of a het attack coming on...it was my gall bladder. i would get a terrible nausea feel too. I researched like mad both medical info and alterative stuff. I choose to try a gallbladder cleanse using olive oi; and lemon and apple juice and it worked for me very well. it looked like stones came out in the tolit after the cleanse just like it said tey would and no matter what anyone says my paind WAS GONE !!!!!!! this was after suffering a long time with docs all stumped...also i researched after gallbladder removal and many people still felt sick and you cancer risk is encreased as the bowel has to drip somewhere and there isnt any gallbladder there....research and open your mind....
I had exactly the same symptoms;had the gall bladder removed then after putting on some extra 30kg I started getting the same symptoms. I have been diagnosed with "fatty liver disease" which is an enlarged liver due to excess weight. I was told to stop eating any fats, give up sugar and halve my carb intake. It seeems to be working so far.
Do you have any other symptoms, like rashes, flushing, shortness of breath, asthma, urinary tract issues? My abdominal bloating and pain was my first symptom, then all the others started happening. I finally had an allergic attack and docs have been unable to diagnose me. However, I just had a biopsy to check for systemic mastocytosis. Don't know the results yet. I've also found, however, that even though I don't have celiac diagnosed I feel much better without wheat. I am now, for some unknown reason, having severe anaphylactic reactions to buckwheat. Who knows how that happened? I remember eating Aunt Jemima's buckwheat pancakes when I was a child but I haven't eaten them since then until last year when I tried a buckwheat crepe. Won't do that again! Might be a good thing to get checked for allergies. My problems are not yet resolved but thought I'd throw out some of my own learning through years of abdominal anguish..
well mine hurts all the way,my abdomen,it feels like knives sticking in me

My best advice is to have the doctors run a complete liver panel of blood work. You also need blood work to check your white cell count. Unfortunately CT scan, ultrasound, xray, etc didn't ever turn up anything for me either. I can suggest things for you for anxiety to lower stress. Stress can help induce it or keep the pain around longer. Do not get your gallbladder removed. I know too many people who have done this and the pain comes back. Tweaking your diet can help but the pain will likely come back at some point. I used to take 2 to 4 oxycodone and 2 to 4 ambien right after a hot bath. At least i could sleep then. The pain was usually gone by morning. These drugs are addictive so be careful when or if you decide to use them. Or you will just have to deal with the pain. You are not alone though. Best of luck
