So after reading all of these posts I feel a lot better. I just discovered mine today in the shower. Its exactly what you guys are all describing. I'm 25 and it has happened a few times already...but they keep going away. I do try and "Pop" it out... I ran to my mother again today asking her what she thinks it is. She obviously told me it's nothing to worry about, but then again...she is not a nurse haha Anyway glad to know a lot of women are in the same boat as me. It hurts so much when you touch it though :-(
I am so glad I have found this site, I have had one of these for a few days now it has been driving me insane not just because of the discomfort and pain but the worry as well. I am going to try a few things mentioned on here before I go to the doctors I think it is a rather embarrassing thing to have, but I am so glad so many people have it or have had it, it makes me feel so much better.

Oh my goodness, thank you guys SO much! Not only do I dislike going to the doctor's, I'm also a hypochondriac (so I thought I had like, 3 different STD's or STI's), and am scared of blood and of inflicting any kind of pain upon myself :$ . I'm going with the washcloth method! I've also heard that rubbing alcohol can help dry it out and shrink but I don't think that method helps as much, as they tend to come back afterwards...almost like they were hiding until the area was consistently hydrated. Thanks again for all of the information! I'm learning more and more about my body (especially genitalia :-P ) every day.

I'm having the same problem right now as the original poster. Been frantically searching Google for answers, but most of them refer to pimples, which I don't think mine is. And I've never been sexually active, so I know it's not STD-related. I've had this small bump on the lower left part of my labia for almost a week now. It's very sensitive and just this morning I noticed that it's bleeding now. No pus or any yellowy stuff like in a pimple, just blood. I've tried to squeeze it a couple times before in the shower, but was more afraid of damaging the area if I did it too hard. On top of that, it was extremely painful. :-(
As to the cause, I honestly don't know. I've worn snug jeans (WITH underwear) this past week. A couple pairs of my underwear are also a bit snug, so I wonder if it was a reaction to them. I also will be straight up and say that I masturbated last weekend. Sometimes I do it a bit roughly, so perhaps I caused it that way? Maybe a bruise or something ruptured?
I am kind of concerned though now since it's bleeding and all. ^_^;; I'll keep squeezing it a bit to see if maybe, like a pimple, it'll shrink and get better that way. I really would like to know though what it actually IS more than anything, in case I need a doctor. It appeared last night, and when i found it i immediately tried to pop it.
But it wouldn't pop! Then I tried the washcloth& hot water thing

guys get these things on their ball sack all the time, I personally don't do the treatment, they just decide to go away eventually - typical guy reaction huh?
i have the same thing and mine started out smaller like a pea. totally thought it was a zit. so took a hot bath, did the wash cloth nothing happened. well i thought the human body takes care of these thing naturally so i will let it take its course now today it has gotten a little larger. i hate i mean hate doctors and have no insurance to boot. so if there maybe some other option some one may have i would truly be thankful
Im so pleased i checked this out on here, ive had a few painful cysts over the years and just kept it to myself worried it was something scary, after having 2 almost back to back within a few weeks, i decided to get advice as im not great at the whole doctor thing, especially when it comes to dropping my trousers to one.. I think that most women have had this at one time or another.. as i have spoken to a close friend for advice, who was as confused as i was when she first had one.

I have the same thing everyone is describing. One thing I'm concerned about is in the last couple months I've been getting them more often. I don't wear underwear and regularly shave everything. I'm wondering if this might be contributing to them happening more often. I've also been under considerable stress lately. Anyone's input on this is greatly appreciated. Thanks so much.
i am 19 yrs old i am soo freaked ouut i cant sleep eat talk to anybody all i can do is obbsess over this i have been haveing unpretected sex an i stated to bleed after we got done haveing sex ok well i thought i had just started my period maybe but was a lil freaked out because i jus got off like not even two weeks ago i didnt really concern to much though because the bleeding stoped the next day anywhom i had sex again with the same guy this time blood went everywhere i became alot more concernd after that i looked up all these possible explanations an set up a appointment to see the doc. i continued to bleed and had noticed a sore right by my vagaina i was a jus a small red bump but hurt so bad i had to sleep with no under wears that night the next day i noticed that it got worse it looks kind of like a blister an i went to the doc today and he told me it looked like herpes i wont know for sure what it is for two weeks when my test results get back an i am takeing some medication that is used to treat herpes im just really freaked out i dont want to beleive thats what it is and i hopeing it could just be nothing but i know that it has to be something its got to be something besides herpes i dont have no symtoms of it i just have one small blister looking sore that popped up out of nowhere and hurts really bad also i am still bleeding bright red blood im so scared i dont know what to think or do about this i havent told anyone yet i have a doctors appt again on monday so i geuss i will know something then but i am listening if anyone has anything im freakin out! oh an i dont think its herpes because i have never even had a cold sore and it is just one sore nothing around it its just a red bump with i film of white puss anyways HELP!?
