It's nothing serious but please don't pop it. It hurts like hell I get that even just trying to press it is agony, I used road run and it for some reason helped disperse it but it will go just don't prod and poke it though that will only make it worse

I just had my left ring finger bulge out and really hurt. I vein popped out and I've been icing it for 2 hours. I get this in one fingers like twice a year: it's painful and leaves a bruise. My doctor just looked at me like I was crazy and said don't worry about it......it feels like a spasm or a cramp when it happens and the blue vein is always quite noticeable.

This has happened to me, once in August 2016 I was cleaning the top of the kitchen counter, got a really horrible sharp pain in my wrist, when I looked down I was horrified to find what looked like an egg shape on my wrist- which was purple/blue colour, this was my vain that was getting bigger and bigger, I rubbed it and after quite a while it eventually went down, I was then left with a dark blue/black bruise on my wrist for around a week and the vains there now look more like spider vains. This happened again today when I went to pick something up, got the sharp pain again, in the same hand as before, but this time in my 3rd finger, I'm now left with a red/blue mark. I type nearly every day for work and have Raynaud's where my finer nails and toe nails go dark blue when I'm cold. I'm also worried about this happening somewhere else in my body. I'm a pretty fit 36 year old female and train weights 3 times a week and Jiu Jitsu twice a week, I don't have red hair. Hoping to find some answers from anyone!!

Nothing wrong with my hands besides injuries from years ago but when I hit a finger any finger really hard say on a table or door jam as I was by I might accidently hit one of them and any tye of hard impact anywhere on any of my fingers it really hurts and itches never had this happen until the last few years I've worked construction and used my hands way more than most people and used to smash m fingers with haMyers and stuff and it would hurt but not like they do now. They never itched from just hiting them by accident but now they do and it's an untouchable incurable itch you cannot scratch i have to sit down and hold compress whatever finger ive hurt for liek 10 minutes before the itching and throbbing stops please tell me what condition or diagnosis his is because I'm losing my mind from this itching bones in my fingers the bone just itches so bad when I smash Or hit it

I was just sitting in a restaurant when I tried to bend my fingers. I turned my hand over and it was very swollen and misshaped. I did go to er they felt blood vessel had broken, I have iced it and massage my hand trying to get the pooled absorbed. It was 5 days ago I am still in pain.

I've had this condition for a few years now,just simply getting hold of something or picking something up causes a small vein to pop. Very painful and a spreading bruise which subsides in a few days. Had one yesterday on underneath my toe just walking downstairs,ouch ! I wonder if it's to do with blood thinners? makes you more susceptible

My son, 14, also just got one of these weird bruises on his middle finger with a hard small lump in the middle. He is not a red head, but does have a ganglion on his wrist also.
