I also had a white pus filled bump on my pointer finger which I soaked in raw organic apple cider vinegar (Bragg's) while I watched tv, over 3 days kept soaking it in vinegar. Then the pus came out, at which point I washed it well and disinfected it with hydrogen peroxide. I continued the vinegar soaking, but now (3 days later) it is healed and has no soreness, just a slight pink spot where it use to be.

I get them periodically on my fingers. They come and go. My doctor said its excema. An allergy of some sort. They're a nuisance but nothing serious.

I get these too. I work with my hands a lot. Mine looked like a tiny hole, I dug at it with a pair of sterilized nippers. Finally an off white cyst I'm guessing popped out and it was attached by a string to the inside of my finger. It's happened more than once, I have no idea what it is. I'm a cosmetologist who studied skin care also and I have never came across it in a book yet. After it pops out the swelling and tenderness goes away within a few days. You may need a dr to remove it if you don't have a safe and sanitary way to get to it yourself. Be safe guys, I don't want anyone to hurt their finger doing what I did. I had one at one point in time almost as big as a pea. It was affecting the circulation to the tip of my middle finger. These things suck, they're very painful and I hope you all get well soon!

My fiancée had the same thing in a scar on his thumb.
He dug at it until it was too sore but said the pain was like shards of glass in it.
He managed to pull it out today and it looked like a piece of small bird seed.
When I squeezed the sac it was filled with a white thick substance.
He said as soon as he got it out it was instant relief.

I have a bubble underneath my skin on my right thumb right by the nail. I am not a guitar player, But I am an avid competitive call of duty player so I obviously use my thumbs a lot. I tried freeze off but its making it worse.

I'm a guitarist as well and I get this all the time. All I do is wait a day or two and just squeeze it. It hurts a bit but it eventually pops and then it heals. It's nothing serious just a little blister.

I have had this on and off for a couple of years now. I do not play the guitar. There are probably different conditions that appear similar. I tried cutting off the little bump on my middle finer, but it just grew back. Now, the bump is always present, but it sometimes swells and is very painful, other times it shrinks and is not as sensitive. I read in one forum that a guy had the same type of wart-like bump and it was the herpes virus. He saw a dermatologist, got a prescription, and the bump disappeared. If that's what it is, it is very contagious.

I had the same but in the middle of my hand I managed to pop it after a while and puss came out and it has now gone. Try popping it, it may hurt at first but doesn't hirt much once it has been popped
