Hi, I'm 15 years old and have been experiencing pains in testical over the last month or so, it's not really that painful but it's annoying, I only usually feel it when I sit down and I mostly recognise it on the bus, i can't feel it when I'm sitting in class or during my day. There are no lumps on my testicals as I have checked but they do get itchy, I seem do recognise the pain more the day after I have masterbated and I have heard it could be epitetymis or something, I have been sexually active but not for 6 months but I'm worried it won't go away does anyone know for sure what this is?? Thank you
It's hard to tell on-line. Your symptoms are also vague. When someone says "pain in testicle," it sounds as if the pain is coming from the testis and not a surrounding structure, such as the epididymis. If you actually have testicular pain or orchialgia, then it could be some kind of infection, but, again, it's hard to tell if you don't get this checked out by a doctor.
Schedule a visit with your primary care physician, explain your symptoms, have him or her do a thorough physical check of the area to check for lumps and bumps (e.g., hydrocele, varicocele, hernia, cancer, cyst), and ask if an ultrasound would be good to make sure there aren't any other underlying causes for the pain. Think of it this way, "pain is the body's way of telling you there is something wrong." You're not gonna get a sure answer or a solution to this on-line.
