With my form of Rheumatoid my tissues around my joints swell, redness, then it start affecting my joints where the tissues are inflamed. I was on a drug regiment, but now I'm unemployed and I'm unable to buy my meds. What I want to know is what type of over the counter meds I can use to help with the inflammation. I also have osteo (sp?) arthritis in both my thumbs extremely painful. What can I take for that? PLEASE HELP!!
Since you cannot take prescription medications, your choice is limited to non-prescription analgesics. NSAIDS are probably going to be the most effective.
