Hi
I need someone to talk to, and I want to know if anyone else has ever experienced this. I need an answer ASAP, because it's been ruining my life. I'm writing this for my own personal notes and for someone to respond.
I've been smoking Marijuana since Summer of 07, my mother passed away in 2000, and I've been having some trouble getting over it to this day. I've been dignosed with Panic Attacks, and I think everything is out to get me, but I only say that because of these problems - I gernerally smoke weed here and there and it always gets me into this impeding doom (I'm actually writing this because I've got that feeling) Since Feb. .I've been having alot of trouble breathing (heavy chest) and been really dizzy, lack of circulation and really bad bowel movements (constant diarrhea) Anyway, it started out as a dry throat (not sore, just really red) I went to the doctor and they've told me it could be the cold air (since it was winter) and told me to go on my way, in March I got it checked out again and my doctor gave me Anti-biodics, I became really phlegmy, could breath through my nose and always hacking up phlegm, whenever I blew my nose, my ears would pop. I was on that for 7 days, and then I moved back to school, where I got it checked out again after that week. She thought it was cold-induced asthma, and gave me a puffer with steroids on March 26. I haven't been taking it to the correct dosage, and I've been smoking weed and drinking again. I'm still having trouble breathing and dizzy and I've been really gassy. My stomache never agrees with me, no matter what I eat. I've been in for several occasions only to get told different things. Please, anyone, help me and talk to me, weather it's just my ever increasing panic attacks, or something is actually wrong with me! PLEASE.

Panic attacks are 100% normal. There as absolutely nothing wrong with you. I had my first panic attack about 3 or 4 months ago and it was right after I had gotten really high.
I went to the doctor and they prescribed me xanex, which I use whenever I have a panic attack or feel one coming on. There is nothing wrong with you, and that's what kind of helped me overcome my panic attacks. As for the rest of your symptoms, I really cant help you there. I do believe a lot of it may just be in your head. The mind controls the body, so when you think you are becoming ill, your mind makes your body think you are, therefore actually making you sick. If you can tell yourself everything is really fine and make yourself believe it, you will see that things will get much better.
I hope this helped.

My heart really goes out to you because I know that having panic attacks can be quite debilitating and it can prevent you from living your life normally. I know that the best that you can do is to see a therapist about some of your issues. You can always take something for it too. One thing that might help you is to stop smoking marijuana--I know from a lot of people who suffer from anxiety find their anxiety is worse when smoking, or at least after. Keep us posted on your progress and let us know how you are doing!
