Thanks for the listing. I have to have this surgery, and am seeking surgeons who perform this often with lots of experience.
I'm also searching for a surgeon who is very experienced in this surgery. I don't think my insurance will allow me to go out of state; am checking on that now. I've done a lot of research on Tampa General Hospital in Tampa, FL where Dr Norman is; would love to go there if my insurance will cover. That hospital's credentials and experience look great; so does Dr Norman. In case I can't do that, then I will definitely be looking anywhere in NC. Any suggestions?

Did you find a surgeon in ok to perform your MIRP?
I went to Dr. Hughes at the U of Michigan Endocrinology surgery department. He was wonderful. Still not feeling much better but I only had the surgery 2 weeks ago. He removed 3 of the diseased glands and left one. I am now on a strict regiment of calcium and vitamin D. They recommended Citracal Maximum with D3. Hope you find the care you deserve.

I hope you haven't had the surgery yet. Any doctor that tells you they need to do exploratory surgery and run from that doctor.
