here's my story. I had sex a few weeks ago and now the skin around my vaginal area is peeling and its burning and itching.....its very uncomfortable. should i go to the doctor?? does anyone know wat it could be?

(oh one other detail i also had oral performed on me for the first time.....could that be the cause of it...???)

HELLLLPPPP!!!!!!! ? ?
Definately need to go into the doctor and have this checked out. Any peeling and burning of the skin is not right, especially in the vaginal area. Do you know much about your partner's sexual history? If not, more reason to have this checked out by your gynecologist. Be open and honest with your doctor so that they can help you. The itching symptoms made me think of a yeast infection but any of it could be related and that the fact that some things took place that were new between you and your partner, indicate that you need to investigate. A simple pap smear test should be able to show what is going on. Best of luck to you! Thanks for being honest and sharing your problem.

Hi:
This sounds like an STD. Have a conversation with your partner. If you did not have this problem before sexual contact with that partner, more than likely, you got it from him. Contact him right away. Let him know what's happening. He may not have any symptoms. This is dangerous for you and any other partners he may have. You are putting your life at risk if you don't know your partner's sexual history. Practice safe sex...you could die. Get to a doctor right away and get this clear up. Be sure to get tested for other STDs, even if you don't have one now. Do all of the tests. Abstain from sex with anyone so as not to infect someone else. Take care of yourself. Make smart choices about sexual partners. You also have the choice to say no.

hello,
i have some of the same simptoms as you but i have not had sex. the symptoms started for me after my first day of lifeguard training. i was thinking it had something to do with being in the water for so long or the chlorine.. but i am not sure. it could be alot of things and you should probably see your doctor.
