I am having the same problem and I just realized I am using that same toothpaste. I think I will stop using it. The skin peeling drives me crazy because I chew on the corners of my lips. I hope switching toothpaste helps.
I don't know if you still come to this sight and check but I in last couple months was having problem with Mouth Shedding is what they call it when this happens in your mouth, the first thing associated with it, is did you eat some thing that you were allergic to. Or if you have food allergies or some other allergies like lactose free, beginnings of a latex allergy( which has a list of foods you might have a allergic reaction. Some things like Crohn Disease and other Diseases can cause your mouth to do this. If the doctor gives you a paper to get what they call four panel blood work for foods which was nuts, fruits, vegetables, and grains and you don't have any positives that great. I look at many website by looking under Mouth Shedding and most parts of the information are the same or mean the same thing. But all the sites recommended that you see a oral pathologist first if you can and if not a oral surgeon because they know what they are doing and looking for. Hope that if you every get this that it helps you out.
Update: Coconut pulling did nothing!
The last time I saw my dentist, he told me he could not see my mouth peeling! What? He told me 3 years ago to chew gum! I have been chewing gum and it costs me about $85/month! Now I have lock jaw because of it! He now tells me to stop chewing gum!
Then the specialist he sent me to for the second time over a 3 year period, swabbed my mouth again and sent it away for biopsy and it came back normal! I have to wonder what they are checking for when they send it away? Maybe they should be doing a scrapping! I believe they are looking for cancer or abnormal cells! Well, I guess I should be happy it's not cancer, but it is depressing!
Three months ago I had an infected lymph node in my neck under my right jaw. No sore throat and no sinus infection! Was put on antibiotics and the infection cleared up but the lymph node is still large! I still have blood in my urine, so apparently, it means infection and more tests. There are so many kinds of infections. I wonder if this will come back related somehow? I am grasping at straws but with this many people having the same problem, you would think after 5 - 6 years, there would be an answer! God help us!
