I have been having the same exact issue for the past 2-3 weeks.    I had a hysterecomy 5 yrs ago and have 1 ovary left.    I saw my OB/GYN the other day,  my urine lab came back fine,  and I had an ultrasound this morning.   I hope they can find what is wrong,  by the early afternoon I am in a lot of pain.   :(

I have had this same problem for the past 3 weeks. Started out minor, thought maybe it was a UTI or bladder infection. When it got worse I visited my OB/GYN and he had me go for urine labs and yesterday I had an external and internal pelvic ultrasound. I will not know the results for that until Tuesday, but my urine labs came back fine. Each day I seem to be in more pain, and it has me worried because I had a hysterectomy 5 yrs ago and I only have my right ovary left. and I went through stage II breast cancer last year. People I talk to are saying I may have a prolapsed bladder or maybe my organs have dropped because of my hysterectomy. But just really worried at the moment. The not knowing what is wrong is the worst, expecially after my battle with cancer last year. Hoping to find someone else that may going through the same thing and have some answers for me.

i know how it feels i was just wondering if maybe all these syptoms are caused by pelvic inflamitory disease??? has anyone had it? i have chronic bacterial infections and i found out that it may lead to pid!!!! i went untreated for a very long time because i was young and the embarassment was alittle bit alot for me. then i found it was just a bacterial infection. sometimes the aching radiates to my legs.... i get it on one side or both at the same time and it is becoming unbearable. I rarely have intercourse with my husband anymore and now i just went in for a appt. and i got a call back which probably means ANOTHER bacterial infection. so if anyone has had pid please let me know so i can ask him about it.

I learned recently what this pain was, a series of cramped muscles that can progress to pinched nerves and inflamed pelvic muscles.  Have you ever had a leg cramp that arched through your calf and into the arch of your foot (sometimes called a charlie horse)?  There is a muscle pinching/cramping in the pelvic area that can happen like this too. There are muscles that run from your spine, across the front of your hips and mingle with your pelvic floor muscles. These can cramp and get pinched, especially after performing activities after having been sitting for a prolonged period of time.  Getting enough potassium, and doing stretches on a regular basis will help prevent these deep muscle cramps from happening. Sometimes these cramps can pinch nerves, inflame muscles, and make the pain continuously flare up and last for days.

FIRST: Try not to force any of your abdomen muscles when the cramps/pain starts by avoiding the urge to attempt a bowel movement or urinate because it can make the cramp worse.

At the first sign of the pain:

breathe deep
place your feet together with hands on your hips
arch backwards and slowly thrust your pelvis in an outward stretch
During the stretch  you can lightly and gently 'jiggle' your abdomen up and down with your hands in an to attempt to loosen the  cramp.

Most of the time this helps alleviate the cramp/pinched muscles before any inflammation can occur and makes it worse.   You'll feel relief almost immediately but may feel a bruised sensation for an hour afterwards.   Avoid sitting, bending, or laying down immediately after stretching to allow 15 or 20 minutes for the muscles to relax again.

You need to get a gyn/uri check up done urgently before the situation gets worse regardless of insurance or not. There are lots of people who will give you free checkups don't be afraid to ask for it. Go to the emergency room if necessary or phone the local gyn and speak to their office manager and tell them you are having these issues and don't have insurance - do they have a plan.

I have had this pain too. And nothing showed. Until I got a exploratory laproscopy. I have endometriosis ...so it says. I took 2 deposit lupron shots and still didn't work. Just I don't have a period now. And I have to start another shot here in a couple weeks. I still have the pain. Its just something that comes with endometeiosis. I guess.

It's nice to know I'm not sitting here in pelvic pain all by myself. God only knows whats wrong with me. I just got over a very bad bout with Eosinophil Hepatitis (reaction to medications I've been on for 20yrs+. They became toxic in my liver) Now, after healing slowly healing from that agonizing pain, this pelvic pain started right behind it. The pressure is horrible and so is the pain. I don't have to go to pee as much but when I do go it's really painful, then the pain is the worst after that. I've been to the ER twice and had urineanalysis done and they're always clear. Bladder and kidneys look fine. My bloodwork says the kidneys are in good working condition. I've been given pyridium and an antibiotic incase something might be brewing. That didn't work. Yearly pap in December was negative for cervical cancer. I am 54 and am now menopause. I wonder if that has anything to do with it? I can't stand it anymore and I'll see my doctor this week!

Hi Im 23 years old,

And last year I was ordered to have a D&C because I developed Gestational Trophoblastic Disease (Complete hydatiformed mole/Tumour) during pregnancy. 2 weeks following that operation I was rushed to hospital with what started off as these nasty shooting pains that literally do stop you in your tracks, days later this developed into huge blood clots passing through the size of my hands and i was rushed to hospital - it was an infenction called endometritis. It took over 6 months forthe pregnancy hormone HCG to reduce to zero and blood tests on a weekly basis - the whole case was handled quite poorly and since then have not received a check as the doctor doesnt think i require one now. Almost a year on fro the pregnancy and im beginning to receive all the same symptomns the nausea, the breast enlargement, swolen pelvic area and worst of al these awful awful stabbing pains, i have taken several preg tests al of which are negative and am starting to worry i may have a recurrence and perhaps i should just see a different doctor... has anyone else had fibroid or other tumours and then had these pains after operation?

Look up weak pelvis muscle. You Tube shows examples of how to do floor excercises to help build up these muscles.

I have the same pain. I had a hysterectomy 7 years ago and yet I am having this pain. I only have this pain when I sit or stand. Laying down the pain goes away. I hope someone soon figures it out.

My daughter has the same issues: pelvic pain, right leg pain, nausea and vomiting which started when she was 10.  She is now 20; she has had 2 surgeries to see what could be wrong.  She has 2 uterus and 2 cervix with 1 cervix nearly closed.  She also has spina bifida occulta (very very mild form her L5-S1 vertebra did not fuse togetheter ut she has no opening in her back) and 1 kidney.  Would like to know any diagnoses and treatments anybody has had.  After her first surgery 5 yrs she was okay and after last surgery 2 years ago she was okay until 11/11 and the problems came back severely just like before her first surgery.Thanks.
