Penis burning after urination, anus itching/irritated

Sounds like a yeast infection (thrush), which can be treated easily with over-the-counter antifungal medications. Did your doctor take a swab for Candida yeast? You should get checked again, if not, and try to keep things clean down there, and always use a condom. A penis health creme with Shea butter may help take care of some of the itching.

oh god! exactlly same problem it comes every week... did tests like sonography , urine test...came negative.. urine test shows uti.. but nothing is helping.. i feel always depressed about this thinking that what if it some kind of cancer .. but tests shows negative all the time.. totally frustrated

metronidazole is the cure!

I had posted before on this thread(24yearoldstudent), so i had unprotected sex with this girl, and burning,itchiness, needle feeling inside the urethria appeared, i used metronidazole for a week and it went away, meanwhile we both did different tests and everything came negative, so we thought maybe it wasnt something related to sex. later she gave me oral sex and that annoying sensation appeared again! i could manage to get metronidazole and again it worked. though we kept having protected sex and everything seemed to be fine untill the day that the condom broke. despite I wasnt in for long, the next day the uncomfortable sensation appeared, it is not as bad as the first time, but i can feel it is there, at times it gets to the rectum as well. Doctors in the west can't really find anything. hospitalls have billed me a few hundred bucks. And none of them prescribe metronidazole for me, since they say they havent been able to find anything in the tests. It is so f*****g annoying!

You guys need to get on a a diet of no sugars eat broccoli. Go buy cranberry pills plus euncheina you can get this at wall mart. Exercise alot and masturbate at least twicea week. After you pee you need to do muscle work on your penis. Give it a month and it will go away. You all have acute prostatitis been living with it for ten years.

hi to everyone, im seeking for some advises,...its because im starting to get nervous about HIV...is there anyone can tell me about, what kind of illness i have??? please!!!few weeks ago i have a sex partner and do unprotected sex, and i know that she's not a sex worker... but im pretty sure its because few week after we sex i feel this kind of itchness in the tip of my penis as in tip of the shaft, and when i urinate it becomes more itching, what do you this is this?and then i read some info in the net regading hiv and the sign and symptoms,*fatigue *vision loss *fever *diarrhea *dry cough *naussea, and i think i already experienced all of this....can anyone tell me if im already a HIV victim?

Its call prostatitis. When the prostate gland get inflame. Im going through the same sh*t right now..

I have been dealing with this for over a year now. Same symptoms. It got better with diet then worse after heavy drinking and bad dieting. I tried several antibiotics at the beginning which kind of seemed to help but symptoms would return. I just recently tried 3 doses of 150mg Diflucan (anti fungal) 72 hours apart which also seemed to help. I noticed symptoms became much worse after the meds ran out.

I'm very intrigued by the E. coli theory. I was in a foreign country and also contracted this during unsafe sex. I'm going to push for a stool and semen culture to test for E. coli and fungus.

In the mean time, I'm going to ask for a longer dose of Diflucan. The way I see it, if my symptoms spiked so much after stopping the anti fungal, it means the infection powered up once it realized the antifungals were no longer there.
If this fails, I may give the Azythromycin a try.

I'm hesitant with antibiotics because I've taken 4/5 different types for long periods totaling about 4 months.

I'll keep you guys posted.

I am unhealthy. (Physically I'm great 23 6'2 160lbs) but like I do NOT take care of myself I smoke a pack a day, I drink a gallon or more of tea a day, junk food is my best friend, but I never considered cutting any of it out

I thought about prostatitis but when I looked up symptoms for that they talked about blood in urine and other stuff I don't have

Also I have hsv2 (yes genital herpes)
But this is nothing like a herpes outbreak herpes feels like poison ivy to me and usually pops up once every year and a half or if really sick. So in my opinion I don't see how hsv2 could cause only the tip of my penis and inside of anus to itch. Oh my ass ball connector gets to itching to inside the urethra

To everyone concerned... Get tested specifically for Mycoplasma genitalium,,,, and maybe yes any anal itching is caused by the antibiotic Doxycycline,, not sure but defiantly worth a shot.

Try washing out your urethra, I had the same issue.. burning after peeing and ejaculation, slight burn to moderate burn. After dealing with this issue for the last 7 months I finally feel relief from this issue, It finally came down to the point where I was willing to try anything. So the idea was from another thread on another web-site, where a doctor was treating people with colloidal silver by injecting it into the urethra opening.. So I got a eye dropper "clear eyes" cleaned it out as best as possible, I then fill the eye dropped with 270 ppm colloidal silver, I then inserted the eye dropped into my urethra opening and squeezed the bottle pretty hard to squirting the liquid in and making sure I felt the solution make it into the base of my of my urethra" to the bottom of my penis, the membranous urethra", well after running out of colloidal silver I was still experiencing the some of the same burning sensations. So I replaced the colloidal silver with cold tap water, and started doing this two to three times a day and after ejaculation. Now about four to five days later I have no symptoms, im still washing out my urethra two times a day.. I talked to my Doctor first to resolve this issue seven months ago, but I was not able to find a solution after multiple anti biotics were perscribed, hopefully this helps you as much as this helped me, I feel your pain brother..

BOB123, do you still frequent this thread? Are you still cured of this horrible condition? I am going thru the exact same thing as you are where I went on antibiotics only to have the "symptoms" return. in my case, I only feel rectal pressure, discomfort. I am wondering if too many antibiotics has caused a yeast overgrowth in my rectum. I was taking probiotics at the same time as the antibiotics, but not sure if this was enough to prevent yeast overgrowth.
