I had cuts and scars develop because the skin was so thin. I don't think I had it as bad as you seem to but this really helped. Fairly cheap too. I had pain from the cuts and abrasions not healing. The brand was scar

Away treatment.


The ones I used looked like bandages and were very easy on the skin. Safe for penis.

What was the strength/brand name of the corticosteroid that you used? And where exactly did you use it?

i'm very scared to put any medical cream on my penis. right now, at least i'm pain free, and my penis works fine. which is useful for my constant masturbation. lol

did you use 'ScarAway Silicone Scar Sheets' or something else?

i'd really appreciate if you told me exactly what you used.

My biggest problem is the pain. Anything sexual, from masturbation to sex, is somewhat painful. I wouldn't mind the skin tone changes and red-ish glans penis if only I could get the painfree sensation back.

I don't have any really visible scarring or damage. Only I can tell the difference between my old skin and new skin. I need a solution though. I doubt many dermatologists are confronted with this specific problem, but I'll have to go to doctors again.

It's really screwed up to associate sex with pain. It's been 7 years since I had this happen. I can only function 'normally' in everyday life if I totally not touch my genitals. It takes me 24 hours of not touching my penis to feel somewhat alright. I am very, very much aware of the state of my body. This used to be the source of my greatest strength, now it has become the opposite. I don't give a sh*t about anything in life if I can't have a healthy penis.

Any other possible solutions or suggestions are very welcome.

They protect and help the skin heal. I'd it takes 24 hours for it to be less painful then of course it's because the skin is trying to heal. The silicon patches helped my skin heal and stay moisturized for that period. This is what helped me. Good luck.

What was the strength and brand name of the corticosteroid that you used? And how long did you use it for?

Has anyone tried contacting Dr. Marvin Rapaport or Dr. Fukaya about this condition? Dr. Rapaport authored a paper on 'Red Scrotum Syndrome' caused by use of corticosteroids to the genital area... search for it.

I've not tried contacting either of them. That's a good idea to do. I can only assume there is only a handful of doctors out there that are sufficiently experienced enough to perhaps aid.

This is the cream I used, I'm pretty certain it's this one: Cremicort 1%

How long did you use the corticosteroid cream for? Did the pain start when you stopped using it?

Yeah.. I'm glad I checked before using it for masturbating. You should have probably done the same. It says DO NOT OVERUSE everywhere on it MAY CAUSE THINNING OF THE SKIN. You were likely warned by your doctor too.

Same thing happen to me I have the burst capillaries and then skin. It has destroyed me life I will be single for the rest of my life now

I would simple use hot salt water twice a day around 5 minutes each time. Dry well as bacteria can build up. Doctor gave me steroid cream for thrush total id**t as it has thinned the skin and I do get redness appear on the tip! It's been over a year on and still not fully recovered!

Im getting great relief with WITCH HAZEL you guy's should look it up . There are so many good natural thing's out there to use. Myrrh is probably good also .

Hi mate, read your problem! Sorry for !! Try coconut oil for 3 months!! It's an incredible healer! Used cortisone all my life!! Now just cc oil!! Good luck Brother!!
