My boyfriend and I have been together 2 years, and while I WANT a baby more then anything I know it isn't the right time. But midway through march we were a little careless and late with him putting on a condom. I read about it and it seems my chances of pregnancy from pre-ejaculatory fluid is about 11%

I usually get my period the very end of the month - but it is known to be quite irregular and I have been EXTREMELY stressed out lately, and then add in the stress of "am I pregnant" and i've been a complete mess. Plus last month my normal 5-7 day period lasted about 9.

Anyway At the end of the month about 2&3 days after my missed period I took 2 hpt and both were negative. Then a few days later I started getting my normal PERIOD symptoms which do coincide with pregnancy ones (sore breasts light cramping etc) and this morning I was cramping so badly I had to take midol and I finally started bleeding but it is very light.

Im still worried i'm pregnant, Ive read stories from people who had their period up through labor. And also who had light bleeding the first few months. Is it normal that 7 days after a missed period to start bleeding lightly? It has been about 3 weeks since I last had intercourse so if I am pregnant it could not be implantation bleeding.

I plan on taking another HPT but I need to wait till tomorrow and I cant go to the doctor because I have no insurance. I was just wondering what other people think.
Is it possible Im bleeding and cramping and am still pregnant?
Im just a little scared because If I am pregnant Id never be able to have an abortion and while I would be able to give the baby the emotional care it deserves, financially I would struggle.
i highly doubt you are just try to relax , the light bleeding dont you think it can be because you took the midol, some people have said taking medication can back up your period also put into fact your stressing. been there but im hoping im not :/

there have been cases to where women get there periods when pregnant but it is very rare. if you still worry after a month or 2 then try to see if there are any free or low income clinics near your home and see what kind of care they can offer or go and apply for medical insurance through the government. it wouldn't hurt even if you weren't pregnant and there is government help also if you feel like you won't be able to financially help the baby and i am sure there are special programs aroung your area too who help women/mothers who struggle. but for now relax and take a test after you finish bleeding see what it says and then see how your next period goes.
