I'm just curious. I took a HPT and it was negative, I received a period 2 days late, although it doesn't seem normal....I bled for 1 day and a half and it spotted for the other half of the day, then the next day it bled lighter than what was thought of as "heavy" and the next day about the same...but what I don't understand is in between those days it would go almost like it was GONE but then a few hours later it would come back.....and I have also recently starting yesterday got really sore nipples and heavier breasts...I have heard of it happening at the start of the period but never near the end. Now, my periods have always been quite steady, so once I bled my normal heaviness on day 1 then I would bleed for my normal 6-7 days. That is why I don't understand why that would be? Might I also add that I have a few new veins and bumps on my nipples which were never there before.......
We are TTC #1 and we had sex July 27th-Aug 1st when we had thought I ovulated...I have a 29-30 day cycle and my period before this one was July 15th. I don't think I am pregnant but what else could cause sore nipples/breasts? Please reply!

Oh but you don't understand I just took one yesterday lol my mom had a problem like this too. She received 2 abnormal periods while she was pregnant with me and NO hpt's came back positive.
But I didn't think I was pregnant....If I am I'd be 5 weeks. But if I'm not, then is there ANYTHING else that those symptoms would be from?

You could wait another week then test. I have heard of women having literally a three day difference in negative to positive. Or to know for sure get a blood test - will pick up HCG. As far as it being anything else, hormones etc... See a doctor if you are really concerned however a blood test sould set you on the right track.

I did a bloodtest almost 2 weeks ago and the doc said it may be too early to detect any HCG and that i should test in 2-3 weeks....i have been also doing hpt's and they were ALL neg. And my mom had this happen to her while she was preg so I don't know whether I picked it up or what, she received 2 periods while pregnant...negative hpt's and lots of em.

I would suggest waiting a little while longer than take another HPT. If you think you may be pregnant maybe it is best to "act" pregnant until you know for sure, i.e. relax, eat right, adequate sleep, all the good stuff, I really hope it works out for you. Keep posting.
