So I've had my IUD since May. So far everythings been good, other than heavy periods.
My last period started on the 10th, but 2 days before I started cramping and lower back ache, which didn't worry me because my period was coming. The cramps and bach ache persisted thru my entire period which is abnormal for me, as they usually only last the first day and at most a couple. This is going on almost 3 weeks, and I still have the pain. Some days it's not as bad as others, but always there. I recently had a pelvic ultrasound, and trans vag to follow up on a hemorhagic cyst, and they told me the iud is out of place and is quite low. Fine. But I also just had an abnormal pap, and had to go for a colopscopy, and a biopsy. While I was there I asked about the IUD and my symptoms, but she only confirmed the stomach cramps as being a symptom. I guess my question is has anyone else ever had the 2 symptoms with an out of place IUD? I'm worrying obviously because I have LSIL, and waiting on biopsy results, and I know back pain is an advanced symptom of cervical cancer. Just looking to ease my mind while I wait to find out the results, and wait for an appt to have my IUD removed.
