How do you plan to know what it is if you don't see someone about it?

Doctors don't know what it is. Which is why we are on the internet trying to find others that have same issue.

Hi all... I also had the tingling...numbness under my right shoulder...near my spine. I have not seen a doctor for it but from reading the chain I have tried several things to see if it helped. The one thing that was successful was deciding to correct my posture...especially while sitting. I found it difficult to do this as I spend hours upon hours at my desk working. I decided to buy a back brace...one that is flexible and comfy, yet supportive. You can buy them anywhere...but they are expensive (I realize that's a relative term but I am a mom of 4 kids...so getting coffee at Starbucks is expensive for me lol). Anyway...I found a site called Wish that is based in China and if you are willing to wait a couple weeks...you can get all kinds of back braces for like 5 bucks...so you can order a bunch of different ones and eventually find the one you like. Do know to order a much bigger size than you are as this is China..and the sizes there are generally a lot smaller than American sizes.
Hope this helps you all....and if anyone has new info...love to hear it!

How can you tell if this could be shingles

Just curious. Are you left handed? Mine is over my right shoulder?

i am left-handed and it is on the upper right back side , right below my shoulders. I got this while i was exercising to lose weight and doing a lot of cardio on the treadmill. I guess it has something to do with a nerve being stuck or pinched between disks, but I'm still not sure how it could fully heal.

Hi, I have the same thing going on my right side under and on my shoulder blade, no pain just a tingling sensation. I reach and rub it and it stops for a bit. I am so scared!!! Do the shingles always hurt or just annoy? did you ever get a diagnosis?

I had an epidural with child birth (my third) and now I have this tingling in the left middle section of my back. I had the same problem with first and went away with time. I didn't have epidural with my second child and I didn't have that tingling problem. So I don't know for a fact but with me it is related to the epidural

I'm puzzled by the number of people posting comments like: "Almost everyone here with exactly the same problem and there's no clear resolution yet?" when there actually was a solution and it was way back on page 10 of this thread by Glenn_Fishwick238498 who has been reminding everyone many times since. I had all the same symptoms as most others here, (occasional to constant tingling in upper back) and after trying the exercises suggested, after 1 month the tingling has all but disappeared. Maybe it's because when people see the word "exercise" or "stretching" they tend to move along to something more expedient? In any case, I can almost guarantee you that if you follow his advice, this problem will most likely disappear. Thanks Glenn!
