Hello out there. It's probably been two months now, that my whole family has had throat problems and a dry unproductive cough. Both the kids have bad coughs that come and go, but seem to be perfectly healthy otherwise. My husband and I have gone through many different throat problems and coughs, sometimes getting slightly better, but never eleviating and progressively getting worse. I now have lost my voice. There is no fever or lack of energy. I'm lost and we have no insurance. I'm concerned that it may be mold, or something worse that I haven't thought of.

I would appreciate any insight at all. Thanks

how about visiting a doctor? I think that should be an option number one.  it depends on what the cause is, that is why for this issue it needs to be set a dry cough treatment that requires you visiting your doctors. There are so many conditions that can cause it, and some of these conditions, like the flu, may be fairly minor and not require treatment. But some others, like strep throat and tonsillitis can turn into serious health problems if left untreated.  coughing all day for a couple of days, I won't mention months, is definitely not a good thing. your body is fighting against something and you need to determine with what.

My family has the same problem. We just moved into this house about a year ago, and we have all started showing symptoms in the last two months. Maybe it is mold. Our house was built in the 90's. I will get it tested. I would recommend you do the same.
