Pimple-like bumps on Scrotum, on and around Penis shaft!

all right guys here's the thing. if these pimples are colored the same as your skin or have white heads, they are what they look like. the problem is that they don't pop easily because of the thick skin. I had one of these on my shaft. what I did was lance that bad boy. just take a sewing needle and puncture the pimple. the rest is simple. simply squeeze out the white sebum and the skin will go back in 3-5 days

I recently had a pimple on the shaft of my penis--and this is what i did to cure it.

I noticed that it had appeared and was sore and red. I continued to leave it alone--it got bigger and sore to the touch. It was very visible, hard and sore--as if a hair was trying to get out or something. I contined to soak in a hot bath every night for about a week, nothing happened--were talking about 3 weeks now.  So I decided to try and pop it with my fingers, nothing happened. I noticed a few days that that it was getting white on the top--so i took a needle to it, using rubbing alchol to sterilize it. When I popped it, a hard white thing came out followed by a little blood--this releaved the pain. It was still red and looked painful although it was not. I then applied hydrocortizone ointment to the pimple 2 times a day--when i woke up and when i went to bed. About a week later it was fully healed.

I didn't go to the doctor becuase I hadn't been sexually active and knew it wasnt an STI. I beleive I got it from shaving my public area around the base of my penis. This may not work for all--but using an cream like cortizone proved to take away potential infection or redness/scaring.

ALSO--tell your parents! Both my parents are medial professionals (registered nurses) and I made sure my father knew about it. I didn't show him but he was able to calm my nerves and told me how to treat it. TRUST YOUR PARENTS.

These all sound like molloscum contagiosum which is a viral skin infection caused by the poxvirus.  They thrive in dark moist places....there are different creams you can use but they don't work very well.  If you have them scraped off, they heal quickly and go can no longer spread.

im 14 and ive never had sex of any kind and i have this lump on the shaft of my penis, it is a little saw if touched and is quite red with white at the tip, it is very noticible and im worried about what it is, please tell me if oyu know

i also have a problem like this, i am younger than 14, never had sex, and i have these strange lumps under my penis, on my scrotum, and around my penis too. these lumps are flesh colored and they are about 3 millimeters across, their like goosebumps.when i feel them i can feel its hard underneath (and they are slightly raised). most are the same shape but some are different. there are no lumps on the tip of my penis though. i am starting to get quite worried about this because it has spread a little, off my penis and up where your pelvis is. and some are red, but the only ones that are, are where large hairs are. ive had these lumps for a while now, almost 3 years i think, but now im taking consideration. the lumps dont itch or hurt, the really seem like they just arent there.

plz help quick! i wanna know what this is, is it harmfull, should i tell my parents, and could it be treated?

Part of sex is that there will be rubbing of your genitalia with your partners. anytime you aggravate the skin there's the possibility for pimples, lumps, whiteheads, etc.. to show up. However anytime there's swelling, redness, or itching you should see a doctor.

ok, so i got back from soccer practice and a four hour camp, and it seems the bumps had gotten a little smaller. is this good or bad???

**Similar Problem

Alright... I'm a 20-year-old male and I have a ton of bumps on my scrotum.  I've see dermatologists and doctors and they always say they are sebacious cysts and/or swollen oil glands.  They look like very white warts, and sometimes I feel like I can pop them as if they were pimples.

**Pretty Bad Semi-Solution

I have managed to pop a good number of them and a bunch of puss comes out.  The ones I usually go for are the whitest ones that are 1/4" in diameter and 1/4" in protrusion (about the average size of the larger ones).  Popping them can be pretty painful, however, and doesn't usually work.  Usually end up bleeding and sometimes they even come back.  No scars though thus far, but still probably not the best idea.

**Research

I'm not sure if females notice them as much as I do; nobody ever says anything, but I've always been pretty self-conscious about them.  Anyways, I'm tired of having them.  Do a bit of online research.
-Can't afford surgerical treatments or anything similar (95% sucess rate, but likely to leave scars).
-Can't afford imoquimod/aldara cream (which is rumored to work).
-The cysts/swollen glands aren't warts, however freezing them may help separate the "infection" from the skin and prevent spreading and make it easier to remove the infection.
-Saoking in oil and covering in a hot, wet washcloth are two methods also rumored to work.

Now I've gotten all of this stuff just by skimming randomly clicked webpages on Google, so I'm not sure if some of the stuff even applies.

**Experiment

Gathered all my information and decided to say what the heck, and try to make my own concoction.  I've got a lot to lose for an attempt to gain, but I trusted my gut instinct and decided to do it.  I shouldn't recommend similar actions to anyone, but I feel like maybe a scientist just has to go out on a limb/take a risk if he/she wants to make a true breakthrough.

I decided to make a paste/cream with household items...
I used this egg holder thing from the kitchen (kinda like a shot glass)
Here's what I put in it (in order) (stirred constantly):

- A lot of salt (to help freeze/dry the cysts?)
- A lot of baking soda (to make the concotion into a paste)
- A small amount of vegetable oil (to help get concoction into pores?)
- A small amoun of rice vinegar (for fun to mix with the oil)
- Some aloe vera (goopy texture; to relieve the burn?)
- Some burn cream stuff (similar to the aloe vera)
- Some neosporin (to disinfect and maybe eliminate the infection?)
- Some honey (will harden and help separate infection?)
- Some lipton green tea (sounds like a good herbal cure?)
- Some orange juice (maybe the citrus and vitamin c will help?)
- Some garlic (character in an old cartoon said garlic cures everything)
- Some rosemary leaves (random and smelled good)
- Some thyme leaves (random and smelled good)
- Some ground savory (random and smelled good)
- More baking powder till formed a paste texture
- Some compound w liquid (to freeze cyst/wart/pimple/gland/ehatever it is)
Made sure to mix well after every ingredient added.

Once I finished stirring my little paste concoction, I went to the bathroom and applied it all over my scrotum.  I then wrapped it in plastic/ceramic wrap and taped the wrap together to keep it on (didn't tape it to the scrotum).

**Waiting For Conclusion

I just did all of this about an hour before posting this message.  It kinda burns where I have cuts from popping attempts.  And I feel  like my scrotum smells like Subway....  I hope I don't attract Jared from Subway now....

About to go to sleep, and check to see what happened in the morning and decide whether or not I will continue doing this.  I will post my results.  Wish me luck!  Hope I don't die or lose my area down there! lol.... FML....

I really don't think it's anything to worry about, i'm 16, and a virgin, I have no diseases or anything, and I have them, so I don't think they are harmless at all. Basically 100% sure that it's not an STD

Same as everyone else except one is red n painfull, any ideas?
