I've been kind of gassy, which I've never been when I PMS. I get very light cramping, it's never excruciating. No abnormal discharge, but I am very bloated and have been eating a lot more than I normally do, lately. I went to Planned Parenthood to purchase birth control, I also asked them for a pregnancy test, which came out negative. I'm not sure if my period is being a little...ehrm, well, itch-with-a-B, or I'm pregnant. My breasts aren't swollen, or anything. I just started having sex a few months ago.
I'm going to wait it out and see if I do start soon (fingers crossed!!) and if I don't, then....I honestly don't know what I'm going to do.
Sincerely,
- that freaked out twenty year old girl.
Its difficult to distinguish between PMS symptoms and pregnancy, because the two are irritatingly similar. I've been pregnant before, and right now I might have the possibility of being pregnant again - and I still can't tell the difference. I'm more anxious than anything, which doesn't help either because that could prolong the wait of your period, i.e stress may temporarily stop your period. So firstly, stop stressing too much. Relax, the only way you can truly tell if you're pregnant is by taking two home pregnancy tests (because two results are better than one), maybe take them a week apart: the first one two weeks after the intercourse and the second one the next week. But if the first one comes up positive, then you are most likely pregnant. Phone a doctor and ask her/him to do a scan to make completely sure.
I hope this helped ladies.
Good luck
