I run to lose weight (only very very moderate weight loss so far) and I need all the help I can get. I realize that I have not been too strict with my diet and that's the main reason for my sub par results. I was looking at one of these gadgets, one of these polar watches which, they claim, can help one achieve one's goals. Has anybody used them? How effective are they? If you can believe those monitors attached to the treadmills (which is where I do my running) I lose approximately 350 calories every time I run. Would it be to my advantage (as well as to get a more accurate reading) to invest in one of these watches? Thanks.
