In January, I had a sharp pain in my right testicle, my sack felt constricted as if a nerve kinda got stuck and caused me pain. I went to a doctor a couple hours later but my pain faded right before I saw him (power of suggestion?). He observed and my epididymis appeared to be tender, but he wasn't sure, he checked my testicle out and found nothing really out of the ordinary. He said if pain comes back to see him, my pain came back for a brief moment that night and it faded. Now at the time of the pain, I noticed my right was bigger than my left, it takes up more space than the left. However it hangs lower than the left, but not by much, imagine a "3" shape where the top is smaller and bottom is wider, it is wider than my left but it doesn't hang substantially lower nor do I feel a heavyness in the scrotum. I had no urinary discharge, or any blood in urine or semen nor did I have trouble ejaculating or urinating. I have no discoloration. And no lumps or increased senitivity since. Fast forward five months and I still notice my testicle is bigger, but it hasn't grown since the intial acknowledgement. Now, I think my mind is drawn to it because of the pain (and I do suffer from anxiety) I did experience, so I'm thinking i happened to notice something on whim because of pain and have associated it's size with the pain instead of properly thinking about the human anatomy and symmetry, in regard to it, it isn't a lot bigger than the left, but it isn't really slight, it's in the middle, however a glance at the scrotum and it's a bit harder to tell, leading me to believe it's just something normal, if you look closer you will see a size difference but it doesn't look erratic. I have no lumps, my testicle feels smooth and slightly on the squishy side but a bit more firm possibly because it is larger. No hard lumps or discoloration, no testicular cancer history, and in my five months I have not experienced any lower abdomen pain (unless i work out, which is natural because those areas are worked), dull aches, increased sensitvity or discomfort, or random bouts of coughing or shortness of breath that is usually associated with testicular cancer in advancing stages nor di experience random bouts of fatigue, I can't say my testicle is swollen either because usually there is some kind of pain associated that I would have felt by now and some kind of increased heat production, which feeling down, neither testicle is hot or producing a lot of heat, or some possible dicoloration in the sack. All of the posts I've seen deal with someone having a testicle like 5-10 times larger than the other which I can't even imagine the looks of it, and I look at mine and it isn't anywhere near that, nor is it like the size of a lemon. Like I said, my five months, I never knew it was there, or didn't care rather, I walk fine and do everything fine like I did before. The only reason I'm posting now is because I saw a commercial for cancer and thought of my pain, and then my mind auto associated the wrong things so now I'm worried. I'm 18 years old, haven't been sexually active in nearly two years not to mention I only had one partner who was clean. Does anyone have an opinion outside of seeing a doctor? I've recently been working out and eating well, as well as taking vitamins.
I thank you for the info, however, I have no pain. As I said, it's been five months and still nothing. I posted here again because I thought my testicle might have been swollen, however, through further research of images and videos of people who do have swollen testicles, I can say that mine doesn't look bad like that. Im thinking it's just the way my body has been, and the fact that I have high anxiety so it makes it worse. I still have virtually nothing wrong with me, or any discomfort in them.
