I had an inguinal hernia repaired on tuesday, and late thursday night two dark red patches appeared on the shaft. They are somewhat like stripes, and they both appeared at the base. They are about 1 cm in width and theres a third of a cm between them. They are only on the top of the shaft.
Also, I cannot get an erection, not sure if this is simply because of the swelling near the incision site on my groin from the surgery.
I've followed the instructions for post-hernia surgery, no shower until thursday night to keep incision dry, ice until mid friday, etc...
Am I just paranoid about something expected or is there actually a complication here?
