Fedup, I think that good Doc is quite correct as it was THC that was being referenced. The anti-inflammatory properties found in cannabis come from other cannabinoids than THC, and the terpenes in the plant. Pobably some drug dealers driving Lamberghinis and BMW's as well.

actually i read somewhere that smoking weed is actually good for your lungs because you inhale it really deep which exercises your lungs to be stronger. also, I heard that weed smoke is nothing like nigotine smoke and your body actually filters it out of your system pretty well....so maybe it will help your pain

There are always other forms of enjoying the THC found in Marijuana that are more potent. You don't have to smoke it.

I read the same study, it only increases lung capacity for people who smoke only one joint a day or less. Not for heavy users who smoke constantly throughout the day.

Don't ever tell anyone anything unless you are 150% sure that you are correct. I smoke weed while on 20 mg of prednisone daily. It helps me to eat, stay calm from the side effects of the pills.... So really, shut ur dam mouth if you don't know what you are talking about. It makes you look ignorant. And besides all that, weed is plant. NOT a man made pharmaceutical...
