Hello, my ear has been hurting for the past 2 days and some sort of strange clear liquid and a pulse in my ear. I have a blocked nose but no headache. The pressure sometimes turns into a very sharp pain and pops. There has been a very large amount of that liquid build up and discharge. The sharp pain can come on for minutes and is usually enough to make me cry. Please help me. It is Christmas Eve and no Clinics or Medical Centers are open tonight. Thanks in advance.

I am so sorry that you are experiencing this ear pain in the Christmas Eve. I can’t even imagine how you must be feeling. Unfortunately if you are suffering from ear infection there is not much you can do about it. You can try with painkillers to ease your pain and some others symptoms if you are having them.
The worst thing is that usually the doctors are applying wait and see what is going to happen therapy so it is best to do the same. You can try to use some warm compress as well.
Other than that you will have to wait to see your doctor and if the infection doesn’t go away by itself you will probably be prescribed antibiotics therapy.
