Check into orthostatic hypotension, I bet you will find your answer.
There are neck issues that can cause orthostatic hypotension and other issues, I would research some of these like cervical type injuries etc, I have ortho BP caused by many different health issue, some autoimmune ( vascultis type and others) and many issues with damn neck .__. It is scary and you know when it is not anxiety!!!!!!!!!! I do not want to scare you but dont back down, find the cause. xx
Hi Walter, you should do some research on orthostatic blood pressure and see if that fits your symptoms and mention it to a doctor. Mine was overlook for very long time.
Me too!!!! I am in the UK and have been having this for the last 4-6 years. i have a rushing sensation in my head, palpitations and sometimes chest pains. I have been looking at all sorts of websites today and can honestly say no one seems to have an answer. So tearful!!! Doctor told me today I am having panic attacks and I can clearly see they are related but I am only panicking because no one will give me an answer and I am struggling with daily life when these things are occurring!
I am experiencing what I discribe as intermittent pulses like a "whoop whoop" inside my head and sometimes it seems like a neurological short circuit or pulse, I am just coming off some anti-depressants and thought it might some kind of symptomatic result of some kind of withdrawal, but would like to find out. It seems to have no particular pattern and I am unable to figure a way to duplicate it by something I do. Such as eye movement, head movement, and it is very irregular.
did you find out what this is im getting same thing and feel like I may pass out but dont
Went to my doc about this and he seems to think that its your blood pressure dropping dramatically as when i get the pulsating feeling and noise in my head its usually after eating or during and then followed by a bowel movement but yeah i think its to do with blood pressure imo
if you are on any type of psychotropic drug (anti-depressant) they will cause this. Doctors do not know what the sensation is caused from other than it being a withdrawal side effect from the AD. Evil pharma.
I do. The sensations run from my neck on both sides and feel like they are approaching my ears. The sensation doesn't last long enough for it to reach my ears though. Rapid 2,3-7 whooshing sensations in just a second or 2 and then stops for a little. The whooshing is more frequent when I have been still and begin to move. Like my neck is stiff and the sensations seem to go away when I am active and my neck is limbered up. The sensations are almost pleasurable and they almost cause a lightheaded feeling. Only way I can describe this is they last only briefly in rapid succession and it almost feels they would make me dizzy or lightheaded if they didn't stop when they do.
Might sound strange but does anybody only get this feeling after they've had a large amount do sugar? Just wondering as I've realised I get this as a result of a sugar comedown (I guess anyway
