I quit 6 years ago and still visit this site. I have observed that quit smoking caused sinus issues and sinus issues disturbed breathing patterns (shallow breathing) and irregular breathing caused stress when brain don't get enough oxygen

My issue are I m in pain all over does anyone else feel like they over exercise without actually doing anything? I keep gaining weight Nd I eat under 1500 cal ugh I feel like I’m dying slowly! I get smokes make you feel like your better but my lord all this pain is crazy i though I had some new sickness and all my test come back good ! How long does this last ? And to do anything is to much and believe me I am a very active person but since I quit smoking my body is saying different
Hi all! I quit almost 16 months ago and I found this website to be a huge source of comfort. I have quit many times before and never did I have the weird symptoms like I did this time. Sick to my stomach, lack of energy, weird aches & pains. I fought through and now all of that is gone & im starting to lose the weight I gained after quitting. I do think that trying to sweat as much as possible helped. So to all of you feeling defeated, don’t! Stick with the quit & the side effects will subside & I have to say, it’s wonderful to be free of that monkey on my back! I honestly don’t think of it anymore & the couple times it entered my head I told myself no way am I going through this again and “noooo, I’m a non smoker now”!!! Finally!!!!
Best wishes to all.
