I have a problem and I do not know who to ask for help. Few days ago, I shaved my vagina, and then I noticed small red bumps as a rash on labia. Few of them I could see on the inside of the lips of my vagina. I have never experienced something like this, so I do not know what to do. Can you tell me could it be dangerous and should I visit my doctor because of rash on labia?

I had exactly the same problem and with one more problem also. However, when I scratch this rash on labia it seems to get worse. My problem with rash on labia looked as bumps that are on the right side of the vagina. That was not like a cluster or anything but where I scratch, it seemed to get more irritated in that spot. Few days ago, I even felt like there were little bugs running around on me down there or something, and it definitely scared me. However, when I was attempting to have protected sex and it felt uncomfortable. It was not painful exactly, but more uncomfortable and I am so worried. Now I am worried could it be some STD and I want to visit my gynecologist. I think you should do the same. I do not believe this is just an allergic reaction so I think we both need help.

It may be a yeast infection, you can get a rash on the outside as well when you have one and it can make sex feel uncomfortable.
