I too take Lexapro and would like to start weening off it. Just starting getting back to looking at marijuana to help the process. The one thing NOBODY mentioned here is that the type of strain you smoke, determines the outcome. Heavy THC strains, like the ones stoners like, can easily trigger panic attacks. Trust me, once you experience that, it's very difficult to recover mentally. If your on Lexapro you have a chemical imbalance, and require the medication to keep it normal. Smoking high THC levels is IMHO really stupid. I personally am starting to use high CBD strains. Read up about it if you need to. From what I gather, higher CBD provide all the relaxation without the psychoactive train wrecks. So generally there is a risk with mixing drugs. Immature stoners will tend to provide uneducated advice, so be careful. My worry is that teens on medication and weed have a HUGE uphill battle to obtain their God given potential.
You should not take lexapro and smoke marijuana at the sametime. They should be 12 hours apart. Marijuana will bring the depression down.It relaxes the thoughts. Magic mushrooms in South America.

Marijuana is only a gateway drug for problem kids who would've found their way to other drugs at some point or another. I've been smoking weed for many years and so does like every kid in my rich white ass town, and their are only those couple that are already problem kids that go to other drugs, if it wasn't marijuana these kids would find their parents pills and so on and so forth. People need to stop saying its a gateway drug, due to the fact that it's not even considered a drug, a drug is man made, weed is natural, marijuana is just a remedy for some illnesses.

Marijuana isn't a gateway drug. It's based on whether or not someone is a "gateway person". Majority of pot smokers don't take any other drugs, besides maybe alcohol which is the real gateway drug.
The same thing just happened to me. I take 20mg of Lexapro and I went in a crazy trip where I was screaming and attacking my friends. Don't do it.

College and peer pressure are more of a gateway drug than cannabis. Almost everyone I know who smokes has not tried or do they intend to try harder drugs. I hate that label as it's outdated and proven to be false.

I wouldn't be too worried. I use medical marijuana for ptsd, and my dr. Prescribed lexapro to aid the mmj. I use less marijuana and have a longer lasting stable mood.
