Red itchy palms. Swollen hands and bottom lip throat

I went to the doctor for red swollen itchy hands my touge swelled and my bottom lip! It hurt to touch anything with my hands they were hot and swollen so bad! My throat got sore so I went to the dr they were worried called it angieodema and gave me a tapered does of prednisone which helped a whole bunch by the second day all symptoms were gone! As of today I have symptoms and I have decided the cold has a trigger on me! Allergist gave me zertek and an inhaler of albuteral and an epi pen just in case! Hope this helps everyone

You could have brushed up against someone, or something that could have been poison Ivy or Oak, I am having the same symptoms, I woke up this morning with large gashes on my legs and buttocks from scratching.... I also have noticed little to medium bumps appearing in and around the areas that are itching.... also my hands are extremely swollen and red.....

im not sure if this reelates to anything but out of no where my left hand started itching so i scratched it well after i kept itching it my whole hand strted to swell. the next day my right hand did the same exact thing. then it went away well a day after thaat my lip started itching and then my lip swelled i had a fattass lip for a day in a half1 it went away... a week later my finger would itch i scratched it would swell that happened twice. annd now say my shlouder, back, neck, knee thy, would itch like outrageously bad ill scratch then little bumps would cme up like i got bit by a misquito.. i hae know iddea what is going on with my body and its starting to piss me off. idkk what to do or what it even is.... ifanyone has any idea lemme no?g.

After several years of suffering from occassional ichy, swollen red, painful hands now and then that would take a week to clear up each time, I finally found the allergen... ONIONS and onion powder etc. I had the reaction every time I cooked stew, meatloaf etc with onions and when I have the reaction again all I have to do is read the soup label or what ever to see onion powder... its in almost every thing prepared. I hear it is a growing allergen.. and becoming more common.

i have got the same symptoms its an illness called hand, foot and mouth,, unfortunately there is no medication for it only pain killers!!!!! it should clear up in a week

I just found this page....but my hands are red and kinda burning..warm to the touch...finger tips as well...but here's the thing...Last night i was handling an old army knife that the handle had been previously wrapped in alot of gaff tape and had gunk on it.................. im thinking bad reaction to the epidermus

woke up at 4.30 am sunday with swollen tongue,as the day went on it went back to normal.Tuesday evening my left hand started to itch.woke countless times in the night,and by then it was both hands.tonight,its like they burning and swollen.Also got scabs inside bottom lip.got a few pointers from here.thanks.

I have very itchy palms, and took between 8-12 60mg Vitamin C tablets. This is an unusual supplement for me as I was only taking them to help recover from a sudden head-cold. I never have itchy palms though, however the only thing different in my diet is the above average Vitamin C consumption.

I have the same symptoms. Itchy, swollen, red blotches. Sometimes it appears on my stomach or buttocks. I have had it for years. Aerius or Claritin releive the itching almost immediately. I've tried to find a pattern for years and finally came to the conclusion that it was being caused by stress. I realized that every time I got this type of reaction I was under some sort of stress.

i have moments when the palm of my hand swells and itchs unberibly i tried over counterstuff for itching and ibuprophine for swelling it helps lil but temparaily aids till the symtoms pass it happens for a couple days here and there in the spring and summer what could be causen it

I woke up with slits for eyes, both palms swollen, hives on right side and large bottom lip. I went to my Dr.'s urgent care. Appears stress. I has steroid shpt in each hip, 6 Pednisone & Benedrl. Feel 95% better today. Shots not shpt.
