Holy Cow! The first post that started this thread is exactly what is happening to me. Only mine itches really bad, lips, throat, hands, etc. The palm of my hand actually is swollen and my throat is so itchy and sore that I can't stop coughing.
I also found a tube of frozen orange juice concentrate in the freezer yesterday and drank 1/2 the pitcher yesterday and the other 1/2 today. I never drink orange juice, just did this time to get it out of the freezer.
This is like the most random ironic epiphany ever. So how long til this all passes? Before reading this I was thinking maybe I was allergic to the Levothyroxine that I started last month for Hypothyroidism, then maybe that I had peri oridontal dermatitis, but now I'm thinking a simple Vitamin C allergy? I used to take vitamin C daily a couple years ago and this never happened, weird?

I have very itchy palms, and took between 8-12 60mg Vitamin C tablets. This is an unusual supplement for me as I was only taking them to help recover from a sudden head-cold. I never have itchy palms though, however the only thing different in my diet is the above average Vitamin C consumption.

I have the same symptoms. Itchy, swollen, red blotches. Sometimes it appears on my stomach or buttocks. I have had it for years. Aerius or Claritin releive the itching almost immediately. I've tried to find a pattern for years and finally came to the conclusion that it was being caused by stress. I realized that every time I got this type of reaction I was under some sort of stress.
