i was masturbating not too long ago and i decided to try going dry for the first time and i noticed just now that there is a red patch on the head of my penis and it hurts whenever i touch it.

google links to some sites where they talk about it being raw and that it's best to put antibiotic on it, but it doesn't mention anything on how long it will take to heal or what can be done to keep it from being a problem during the day, mainly to keep it from rubbing against pants/underwear.

can anyone help me out?
