You might not think its an allergic reaction but you really dont know it could be a new makeup product or a drink or face lotion or even something thats not suppose to go on skin i got it one time in areas where i used bb cream. it went away in 2 days. I didnt where makeup for those to days and i never used that bb cream again it was itchy and everywhere especially omy upper lip and cheeks.

When I was in middle school I had a red spot that developed under my eye. My mom took me to a dermatologist and he told me it was a curled up blood vessel. He gave me a shot to numb it and then he stuck it with something that made it sort of straighten back out. It had a slight bump to it, but a short while passed, maybe a few months to a year then it came back and I got another one near the laugh line area of my mouth. I didn't want to go back to the doctor again, so I just used concealer. You have to use a green concealer over the red spot to neutralize the red and then you put skin tone concealer on. After many years, they both went away. So go to the doctor or just conceal it, your choice. Good luck!

Could be strep. My daughter always gets these after she has strep...no other symptoms, so I took her in to see her doctor. They swabbed her throat and - voila! Strep.

Hi Hanish, I might have the same problem but mine is very serious and the spot is big and rough, its been about 1 year. I had seen few doctors but they either told me its acne or rashes. The red spots cleared and left marks, it has been repeating until recently. After I met this Chinese TCM then I realised that it is Toxin. My liver is not working well, that is why my eyes is yellowish instead of white. All this while I am lacking of water as I don't drink enough. I have seen improvement so far but have to wait another month to see if the red spot will reappear again (It normally appear 1 week before my menses). I hope you have gotten your remedy and recovered. Remember to drink lots of water.

Hey! I used to get dry skin patched and the would move around my face. It would flake, I tried diaper cream, antibiotic ointment, lotion etc. What worked was athlete's foot cream. I guess it's some sort of yeast thing. It was amazing! I had this problem since my teens (now 32) and it hasn't come back. But to the original poster, I'm not sure that is the problem....good luck!

Ok so if u use acne meds, its probably that your skin is drying out. Happened to me too, trust me. And they sting like hell when you put lotion, regular lotion, on it, but it works. It can also happen with plain old cold weather and its because when your skin dries from the cold it peels and leaves the skin sensitive. So, be careful, don't use any acne meds that can possibly dry out your skin while the spots are there. Hope this was helpful. Oh. And whatever lotion moisturizes your skin best for you, use it. Even if it stings so much your face numbs. Lol. Hope I was helpfullll. Good luck.
