What is it like having implant removed and nothing put in, that’s about to happen to me?
Had it installed & in less than a week I ended up back in the hospital in urinary retention. I now have a suprapubic drain so I can urinate. Very, very discomforting. I have not been able to sit due to swelling & tremondous pain & I am bed ridden. I hate it & so sorry I bought into the BS I would feel like a man again. My girlfriend is out w/her friends enjoying Christmas parties & I’m stuck in bed pissing in a bag. DON’T DO IT.
I gave had an AMS for12 years..
I lost size year before the implant.
So my 9nly complaint is i need a new one ,because the pump head stops woking at about 3/4 inflation. I have usedvevery medvposdible before implant. Never had a problem. Keep in mind my ED began in my mid Twenties. Thatz right mid twenties.i had vascular surgey at 31. Implant at 47. Both surgeries performed by

The pain will go away, use ice packs and be patient, took about 8 weeks after surgery.
Try sitting in the hottest tub of water you can physically stand, this seems to soften the bulb and allows the pump to inflate. Do this every day for at least a week or more. Pump up while in the tub and cycle.
Hang in there friend,it will get better. 8 weeks from surgery I was 3"at inflation, I worked it every day, inflating and cycling two, three times a night. Now I am at all most 5". Sit in a tub of the hottest water you can stand and cycle it up and down. It will never be as great as before but it is still pretty good.
I had the Titan installed nearly 4 weeks ago & it has been One complication after the next. A week after it was installed I went into urinary retention and had to be rushed to the ER to have a suprapubic drain installed. Ouch & you cannot wear a belt. Drain was left in, but capped if needed, a week later when I was allowed to urinate through my penis again. The flow & stream is off, way off. Also, Do not let them fool you this will correct your Peryonies disease. It won’t & its worse since the surgery & there is no way I can have intercourse with the curvature I have. Doc said just push it to the center, hurts like hell to do that and it just springs back immediately upon release back to the right almost touching my thigh. I have been out of work the entire time after being told I could return within a week and I have no idea when I can go back. I can feel this thing rubbing against my shaft & it feels like the tips are going to poke out the head. You will also fill the reservoir tube running up your crotch area which the doctor says it’s normal. May be what is this discomforting. The final straw is the reservoir slipped from where it was placed in my abdomen to the lower right quadrant of my abdomen now resting on my bowel. The last few days I have been getting sharp pains in that area. I’m done and this was the biggest mistake of my life next to letting them talk me into having my prostate removed. The pain is Excruciating. It is Christmas day and I’m laying in my bed in pain while my family and friends celebrate the holiday. The doctor does not want to take it out but I’m going to be insistent as something is just not right & I am over it. Before the surgery I wish I listened to my girlfriend who told me the inability to not have an errection does not make you less of a man. She was right as I have spent last month bedridden while life has passed me by. Don’t do it.....
Do you have a support group or web page? I am an advocate for women who have suffered illness or complications as the result of silicone and saline breast implants. We have over 30,000 sick women just on social media sites. I'm wondering if men with penile implants suffer illness - chronic fatigue, anxiety, Autoimmune disease, rash, etc. after placement. I'd like to hear more about any of you that developed unexplained illness after placement. I'd also like to point out that we have developed a coalition with other Class III Device injured to try and pass the Medical Device Safety Act of 2017. Penile implants are Class III. Preemption makes it extremely difficult to seek litigation against the manufacturer with these devices that fall under PreMarket Approval. Other devices include breast implants, defibrillators, Essure, IUD's, surgical mesh, nerve stimulators, cochlear implants, pacemakers, etc. These companies have no incentive to make better products because the injured have very little recourse to hold them accountable. I haven't been able to find any support groups on social media or any advocates on the forefront of speaking out against penile implants. I need to find people that are doing so. We are trying to form a relationship with other harmed consumers to discuss our similar symptoms and move forward with trying to overturn preemption. If anyone would like to reach out to me, please feel free to comment. I am on social media as Breast Implant Victim Advocacy. I'm so sorry that you are all going through these complications.

I had the Titan installed however 4 weeks after the installation, I was still in agonizing pain & unable to go to work or anywhere for that matter due to the semi erect-state of my penis. They don’t tell you that before the surgery. The reservoir slipped from its original placement into my right lower abdomen laying on top of my bowel. Had it removed & so sorry I did it. Never again..I am now going on 6 weeks out of work bed ridden due to swelling of the removal. My scrotum has been leaking blood for 2 days and they said it was normal. Don’t do it. Be happy with what you have or do not have. Oh yeah forgot to mention I went into bladder retention and I now have a supra pubic drain installed in my pubic area so I can urinate.
I had ams 700 cx installed in June this year it does hurt when inflating to max is that normal
yes that's normal. max is best for exercising to maintain length. (keep it at max for 5 min or so)
For sex you can keep it at 70-80% which will be a good feeling for you and your partner.
All the best

It's a stretch to tell men that can't have a natural erection, to "live with it". That's what they've been doing and that's what has caused the suffering. The implant is a last resort. The recovery time can be longer due to the physical state of the patient. Being older, diabetic, a cancer survivor, overweight etc can impact how long it takes to recover. It can take months. If you did your research you would have seen this. I'm sorry you had complications but this should have been researched before you got the implant.
are people making multiple posts?
It seems being a guest you probably can. This is unfortunate because all these negative reviews are probably from a dozen people but they post 5-10 times and it makes this horror story look exponentially worse than it is.

I stuggled with impotence. Which began in my late 20s. The firts two times i received injections they did not work. I was devestated.referred to aPshch. Doc.
2 years later diagnosed with severe veinous leakage. Had arterial surgery. Last 5 years. Then 8 years using meds off and on. Till my blood flow was so bad it did not work. Had the AMS 700. NO IT WAS NOT PERFECT.
But given choice between between limp and erect on demand. Iam soooo glad i got it.
One of the things i hatef was my flacid penis was so small i had trouble removing it to urinate. I once was 6". Before pump flacid it looked like my thumb. I have had it for13 years. I need to at least get a new pump or replace the unit. Best decision I ever made.
