I have had whole right side of colon removed, plus appendicts. They cut something and made me overbleed, shut down my kidneys and caused congested heart faillure, this has been3 1/2 months. I still have to stay on diet for kidneys and have a lot of pain on right side. Do you think this is kidneys for pain still from surgery? Thanks Mary?

Hi there,
Well the pain is near your kidney and you have suffered a great deal during the surgery so I think that the pain is still caused by the kidney. I think that your kidney is not recovered still fully so you will still have to wait until the pain has gone. Can you tell me more about the medication that you are using now? I think that you might be able to use some pain killers for the pain, but it would be good to talk to your doctor first about the over the counter pain killers.
