In 1990, I was diagnosed with RMSF . At that time my doctor said at some point I would get arthritis. I just sort of dismissed the idea. Now 24 years later, I have arthritis in my back, knees, elbows, hands and toes. I've also been recently diagnosed with perineural cysts , spurs, canal stenosis and arthropathy. I was wondering if anyone suffering from arthritis had also at some point in the past had RMSF
I had RMSF around 1958. Although I've been diagnosed with arthritis and tested for RA twice, I'm not sure they are related. It's in one hip, fingers, and probably feet. I've often wondered if the 106 fever I had effected any portion of my brain;
I had RMSF 3 years ago. At the time I suffered excruciating joint pain in my hands and forearms. I now have arthritic pain in my hands that flares up quite often. I never had it before, but three years after RMSF, it is still here.
