Over the past week I have developed an itchy, perfectly round sore on my bosom. It started as a tiny bump, and when I itched it lightly, the capillaries under my skin seemed to well up to the surface and cause blood spots beneath the skin. I have tried basitracin, hydrogen peroxide, and putting a bandage on it, but when I take off the bandage, my skin is so sensitive that it is red in the shape of the bandage for hours afterwards. I fear it may be either the start of a skin cancer, but am unsure. It is very slow in healing, and it is the only one on my entire body. Please assist! Thank You.
I don't think that it is skin cancer, although it's hard to say what it is. I think that without being able to see what it is that I can't even guess what it is, but if you do have a sore that doesn't heal after awhile, you should definitely talk to a doctor about it. Make an appointment with your dermatologist as soon as possible and let us know how it turns out.
