I wrote quite a long post and it was erased so ill try to make this one a little smaller and just do a summary.
i am 17 years old. I have suffered from severe anxiety for about 2 months now. They prescribed me vistaril. I started smoking almost a year ago, and quit about 2 and a half weeks ago when i got bronchitis. I was told by numerous doctors that i didnt have bronchitis and they told me it was just anxiety . I was having horrible chest pains and thick phlegm in my throat. I finally got a real answer and as it turns out, i did have bronchitis. They prescribed me zepac (antibiotics) and robitussin with codine for the chest pain. After i was done with the antibiotics, i thought it was over. Not even 2 days later (about 1 1/2 weeks ago), i started having very heavy breathing. At night when i lay down to sleep, it is even worse and very hard to fall asleep. i have had and continue to have loose phlegm in my lungs that i can cough up but it always returns. The doctors wont seem to believe me because they know i have anxiety and i understand that it sounds like anxiety, but i am positive that it is more than that. Here are some of my symptoms lately which may or may not be connected:
-Weight loss (120 down to 113 in a matter of 3 weeks)
-Stomach pain and feeling very full after eating small meals ( i use to be a big eater)
-Feeling as if my heart is pumping in my throat every once in a while and only for a few seconds but very strongly.(one of the scariest parts)
-Heavy chest especially at night, uncomfortable any which way i lay besides on my stomach
-loose phlegm in lungs
-random sharp pain in stomach every few hours
-sometimes somewhat gassy feeling in abdomen very painful but also temporary, comes and goes.
-muscle spasms in stomach.
-occasional small chest pains
-Abdominal pains, obviously
-occasional burning after peeing (Unrelated) i use to get UTI's pretty often but this time they tested and it was neg.
-some pressure in upper back in the middle.
-thick,sticky, &pungent menstrual blood.(also unrelated i believe unless that has something to do with the abdominal pain)
And please know that none of these things are exagerated or blown out of proportion. They are real and i just want answers. COPD? Something to do with my Uteris? gallstones? I also have a small suspision that i have intestinal parasites. My anxiety has calmed down quite a bit and i havent had a panic attack since the day i found out i had bronchitis, So i am confident that all of the above symptoms are to do with my body's health.
Sorry for some of the mispelled words as well, someone please help?
i never thought there would be a connection but maybe there is ?
