hi i just had an abortion on the 30th of december and i had protected sex on the 1st and 2nd of janurary..but i dont feel different im just scared and i have normal bleeding and sometimes it light..but my main concern is am i going to be ok,im taking antibiotics and pain pills, should i go see a doctor? or wait for my scheduled appointment?
I don't think you are supposed to have sex that soon after an abortion. I'm pretty sure that you are supposed to wait at least 2-4 weeks.
Why would sex be on the mind of someone who just had an abortion? Of course you are supposed to wait and by not waiting you have put yourself at great risk for many problems. It is very sad and pitiful that after having an abortion your first priority is sex!

I just had an abortion also on the 19th of March. You aren't suppose to have sex that soon. They say to wait at least 4 weeks before sex, but when you go back for the two week check up and the doctor says you are fine and everything has healed up they will tell you it is fine to start having sex again. And it is also normal bleeding after abortion. Cause sex of not you would still most likely be bleeding. And it is totally normal to think about sex after abortion. =) I have posted many questions about bleeding also, but I have found a lot of information on the site that reassures me that I'm not the only one and it is normal, so I hope I have helped out.
