my friend is 17 and has frequent, sharp stabbing pain in her liver area (right side, just under and slightly inside her ribcage). She's had it for a few years now and she says the doctors don't know what it is, but they suggest it's something with her gallbladder. She has struggled with bulimia in the past and self-induced vomiting almost every day for almost a year. She stopped that about 5 months ago, but the pain has persisted. She's had sonograms and Xrays but they came out normal. what could this be?
When you said that it sounded odd & firmilar..Im not going to be much help because i have the same questions & gone though the same test but i still have that sharp pain in the exact same spot but can find nothing. but in reality somthing has to be going on.
