Perhaps you should ask for a colonoscopy to be done, I'm having similar symptom not as crippling, but I won't let it get to that point and I'm a 35 yr F.

I have had this problem for many years, it comes and goes. It almost always happens when I am home seated or laying in same position for a while so gas pressure builds up in my intestines. Moving around more often helps. When it hits me I find a position / usually bend until the pain cannot be felt, then freeze in this position and count to 15. One thing that makes it worse is fatty and creamy foods.
Do you get gas along with it? Like in your lower abdominal area?
25 year old male here and I get a lot of these sharp painful anus pains as well that stop me right in my tracks its killer my doctor just told me to tell him if it keeps happening and not to Push at all if i can help it while making a bowel movement because it will make it worse.

I have the same issue. I'm a teen and I'm hit with a crippling pain that makes me stop what I'm doing and arch up to relieve the pain. It only lasts a few seconds but I do get them. Idk what it could be ;-;
I am 40years of age and been having some serious anal pain I can't even squt down at work without out having some serious pain and I can't even walk without feeling like I am gonna pass out
I thought it was only me but it was the first thing that came up when I typed sharp knives in as****e ... Every time I fart it feels like where the gas is coming from the pain is consistent with the release of the gas too. It's intense and hurts like hell. I tried putting my butt in the air to stretch but could a diaretic substance help? It causes extreme discomfort and happens before I go to bed and in the middle of the night.

I have been getting these for years....diet, stress, constipation all set it off.. my main trigger is if i'm worked up/stressed. Think it also related to irritable bowel syndrome...went to docs a couple of times. .they çud neva help...buscopan tablets do help it
