My wife is 35 years old and pregnant for the last three months. Today, when I had done the ultrasound sonography, the doctor told me that there is a shortage of placenta. She advised her to take care & rest. What is actually placenta means. Is it develope afterwards. Kindly reply. uday
The placenta is the sac that the baby grows in. The placenta is attached to the uterine wall. I am not sure what they meant by a shortage of placenta. I would ring the doctor and ask them to fully explain what they found.
