Should I use Nair for genital shaving???

Nope.  Don't do it.  Great balls of fire!  I found your topic while trying to find a treatment for said fire.  

Using nair on your bikini area didn't hurt or itch for me at all a except for after I got out of the shower for about 5 to 10 min- but it probably depends on how sensitive you skin is.

I do use nair actually, just be careful not to get it inside, that will make it burn like hell. If you're careful on the way you put it, and you do a test before, it should be okay. Some strippers actually use nair and then a solid Deoderant. It does work, if you do it correctly.

I just used "Nair for face and lips w sweet almond oil". I was freaked out from all the stories from friends and online, but had to go for laser hair removal and didnt want to shave ! As a precaution i first washed my face and put Betamethasone (.10%) Valerate and Neomycin (.5%) skin cream. It said to keep 5 to 10 min and no longer than 10. I had to keep the full 10 and still didn't see all my hair gone but most of it is gone and guess what ?! No burn. None whatsoever. My face is sensitive. I can't use most products on the market. I use Jolen bleach sometimes which burns and leaves my skin red but it is bearable. But Nair - nothing !! So happy I don't have to shave for the entire year during which I will be getting laser hair removal : ) So if you want to do your bikini area - 1. do laser hair removal, 2. waxing (if done properly does not hurt much - I did it myself but you can go to a professional), shaving (do with an electric shaver -sooo much easier) or if you must use Nair use the one made for Face and Lips but dont know if it will be strong enough for the hair down there !

I had very bad razor bumps on my private area and my sister recommended that I tried Nair, it burned like crazy the first time I used it, I even walked funny for a half an hour but I did try it again after that and have been using it ever since and now I'm happy to say I'm 'RAZOR BUMP FREE' down there. razors give me bad razor bumps and i'd rather grow a jungle down there than shave with it. I also recommend using a vitamin e oil or Vaseline after and do not use any produce with alcohol, it cause irritation and dries out the skin making razor bumps even worst.........Good Luck!

I use nair on my bikini area..the trick is to use petroleum gel on the very sensitive area and ure good to go

ive been using nair since tje need to shave began it works perfect for all over use it for under my arms ... down there and o have used it on my arms and legs bfore too but i stopped bcuz i din want it growing back thicker!!! yes the first maybe 2 times it burned but i loved how it looked so i kept usin it and now it dosent burn at all just make sure to not keep it on longer than 7 mins ... cheers :)

 put nair on my legs today an it burn off my skin after 3 mis of use i dont this its safe for your vaginal area

I used nair for a while and it didn't burn at all  until the last time I used it. Make sure u dont put it on hairs very close to you know. Haha but I put it too close and it burned like a mother! Just be careful and you should be fine:)

After applying can you wash where you applied in soap/shower gel? And after taking a shower can you put lotion afterwards? And can you use shower power max from Nair down there? Or do you need to buy a different product? please answer because summer is coming I'm 14 and turning 15 in aug. and having pub hair is very uncomfortable.

I use nair to get the surface area then i shave the areas close to the inside and the lips remember fresh razor is the best razot.. Jus remember to moistarize!! I use patrolium jelly everday. It helps wit the itching nd the swelling. If the occur. I hve ver sensative skin. Soo as soon as i find a sure fire way to stay bump free imma stick to it

I use Nair often. The trick is to use petrolum jelly inside lips or on any area that is cut or bumps or anus (any sensitive area). It feels really smooth and your partner will enoy it as well. I personally go over the lip area with scissors just to make sure it's all gone. And when the hair grows back, it's not itchy at all.

You can use Nair on your bikini area but only on the pubic bone. DO NOT apply it to your inner or outer labia as it will cause irritation and burning. Trust me, I know from experience.

I've used it for several years now and have never experianced a problem, I have heard of people having a reaction there are some here.  I suggest that you try it for your self and find out.  Apply it to a small area to start.  Obvously it goes on the outside.  I have noticed some posters here that have had a bad experiance telling other people not to use it.  Perhaps share your experiance and not assume that everyone will have the same experiance...if the product was that bad it would not still be on the market
